you nailed there,you need those 3 or 4 players to show up every night and that would be to much to ask,once the expansions are all done,a few years to bring the overall depth up,i mean its great just having a real "pro" team. i mean theres nights you can see squad they had in mind when they picked these guys,but it just hasn't happened enough.but like i said its only the first season,so i'm hopeful.

i know,my first season(and whitecaps first)watching,its been an expierience.after starting with a win,and having 2 0r 3 injuries,playing sat,wed sat for the first 2 months and no wins ,a few draws,some glimmers of quaility,chiumiento probably best player,hassli been brilliant,rochat has been the steady to very good some nights,and camilo who shows some quaility.other that the rest of the team look pretty pedestrian,some of them like salinas show they can play one night,then look utter crap for the next month.its been a very frustrating summer,although tbh,first year,all new players, i didn't really expect alot.and now,after finaly getting a nice win,4-2 over chicago,and playing well and looking like a team,should be a decent end of season run(hopefuly).

can't wait,should be a good season.looking forward to alexis and cesc. and thiago's had a pretty good summer,looks ready for the first team.cheers.

just looking through new england revolutions squad list only to see a familiar face,didier domi remember him say circa 98-2001,off to watch the match.

i've only seen,for just over 45min and the bit he came for for the last. he's had slight hamstring problem,since the start. but apparently he signed at juventus at 16went to switzerland at 20 to get some first team games,thats where we got him.but the little bit i've seen of him,he's got a good touch,plays smart passes,plays with his head up. can't wait to see him a bit more. maybe he'll be starting tonight.

yeah,the whitecaps game was,a shocker(in a good way),missing few of players,eric hassli through red card,jay deMerit(our captain),davide chiumiento(best player imoh) not starting(hamstring),russell teibert and omar salgado(our first pick in the draft) at u20"s.we played a young(23) brazilian camilo da silva sanvezzo upfront,he looked dangerous all game,but didn't get much service til chiumiento came on and set up the 2 goal and first for camilo,in 92 min,then scored great header,on perfect cross from nizar khalfan in 93 min,you'd have thought we won the league,as the stands erupted.and sporting must have been in shock,gave up the ball on restart,back four just standing around,we almost got a fourth,all in all a good day,and the fact nufc had won in the morning made it all the better. cali mag thanks for the invite,will keep it in mind,as i'm hoping to go to a couple away games,will let know as date gets closer,must admit am enjoying msl,never really watched it before,as i can't stand toronto

vancouver whitecaps kicked off their mls season yesterday,great match,great day and great crowd.nice to see major league football is back. nice 4-2 win over tfc,as added bonus.cheers.
