  1. ffs, is this ever going to happen...dragging on to long, seems like whenever that happens,we don't sign the player.
  2. hard to believe, never thought i'd say this, but i like the direction the club is going, wages wise and all. someone said on here last summer, that some day a team might just win, with a blue collar approach, hard working, belief in them selves and coach.i'd love it if if could be us. or maybe its the Carr effect, knowing that if we lose someone(and hopefuly cash in),he'll just deliver another gem,simple...LOL.
  3. Don't agree with this fully. They still don't commit players forward, make runs etc because a. they don't play enough players who can do it and b. the mentality of those on the pitch doesn't fill the void. To be honest I don't really blame them today. France gave them a free pass into the semis. They were more than happy to play at half-pace and keep players fresh for the next round. It was like an inconsequential friendly or something. Don't get me wrong I'd like them to drop Busquets and play with a proper number 9 but it's tiresome as f*** to watch every team park the bus against them and people to be criticise Spain for winning effectively against it rather than the opponents. People were calling the Ireland game dull, I just don't see it. well said, but i'd rather drop cesc for a proper #9.
  4. it will be the most important game of the tourney, for the canadian women,as we open up with japan. the funny thing our womens coach is from newcastle(or least born there) saw last week he was talking about his first live football match with his dad, walking out in to st.james, being blown away by the size and atmosphere and said after that there was only one team for him. he(john herdman) was talking up newcastle,st james and there supporters to the women, hopefuly be a good atmosphere, to cheer the women on. do womens teams get much support out to the matches over there? i know womens matches can be like mls, sometimes good, sometimes not so much...
