They just took 0 points from consecutive home games against West Ham and Bolton. Please stay Roy

I think he means from his Barcelona perspective, it's a bit of a worry

These days Owen is only as useful as his midfield - Geremi is the only one in our team that can cater for Owen's needs in a 4-4-2, and it's unlikely Geremi will get much of a look in. Still I'd settle for 6 taps in like the one against Wigan if necessary.

You make it sound like a dog sniffing a turd in a park. Bassong's had two or three stand out games. Let's not go mad. I'm still waiting for Arsenal's swoop for the Zog to materialise...

Stoke's run of games over Christmas and January makes me feel easier as that'll take up 2 of the relegation spots (WBA being the other)

aye, look what gordon brown has done,...brought the whole world to its knees,. I was thinking more Sammy Lee/Chris Hutchings but either way
-
Glad he's turned it down, would have inevitably led to him being appointed when JFK leaves and IMO promotion from within rarely works.

It'll entirely depend on how much of the crowd are members from here. There'll be pockets of people in the stadium standing up as Nile stands on the touchline, each one whispering nervously to the person(s) next to them "Here comes the custard!" and the crowd will break into "Loving you has made me bananas" or something equally silly.

I don't think the majority are questioning him, more where he is being played. He's not shite down the right by any means, but his best work for us has come down the left. When he starts on the right, he gets switched to the left more often than not with bloody Duff coming to the right. If Owen's on the field you may aswell play Geremi right and Jonas left, but personally I like Zog and want to see him given a run. It's all a bit of a headache really.

That's quite a sneaky idea. Remember Highbury? The hoardings were practically the touchline at that place
-
Surely if that's going to happen you put Bassong at left back, given that he's left footed Well there are various ways of juggling things around, but I'd keep Bassong and Coloccini as centre backs, as they're our best combination. Taylor would be there to add his heading ability for defensive set pieces. Just think it's a bit negative at home. Can see why it would happen though
-
Coloccini is the thinker and Bassong is the beast. They make an effective parntership because they have different strengths that assist each others games.

Don't you be slagging our main attraction

Scolari then - unlucky with injuries (Dorgba/Essien) or lacking ideas?

To drag the Windas thing up again, this made me chuckle. I read this during the week: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/hull_city/7748909.stm And they came back with the Windass idea

Drops Sunderland further in the s***, while we'll stay above them. When there's only goal difference seperating us and them, it's a bit of a null point really
-
2-2 at Portsmouth Al says (16:22): 2-0 pompey, thats us out of the relegation zone for the weekend
-
I was thinking, Brown is the type to say "survival is what we need to ensure" and rest a few. Maybe. Especially after the busy Christmas time. Christ, hoping Hull rest some players
-
Surely if that's going to happen you put Bassong at left back, given that he's left footed

Where have all the goals gone recently? A few weeks ago it was raining goals now it's like Serie A all of a sudden
