I'm pleasantly surprised at us playing better in the second half than in the first. We were routinely worse in the second half under Pardew and the end of games were scary and most often we played disgusting football. Yes, playing shit in the first half is not going to be good consistently but at least we've shown that we can do well in the second half. That's 4 or 5 times in the league now that we've scored more in the second half than the opposition.

He looks good when he gets on the ball but in a counter attacking team like ours, I don't feel he's effective enough. How do we play like his Ajax team did and control the ball and attack with ease? He needs touches much closer to the opposition box than he's getting right now. It'd help if one of the two central midfielders offered something in attack.

Every tv operator knows that if they don't have sports on their programme, ain't nobody tuning in for something they can download or watch later.
