  1. We need to spend around £70-100m. Anything less and we won't stay up. LB, CB, 2 CMs, LW, RW and one ST.
  2. Thats exactly why the club should support the manager instead. Cheaper to replace one guy.
  3. He should see that push on Sterling mind. Ref, Linesman, 4th official one of them has to see it. I think that's the referee's responsibility. The push was easy to see and I think he saw it as well, he just didn't want to make the decision.
  4. This match has been frantic. Enjoying this a lot.
  5. It wouldn't be surprising. I would hope this means Rafa gets a shortlist of players to pick from and he can work the budget himself, rather than a more DoF model that we operated before. I would be surprised if this wasn't in the contract and that Rafa wasn't aware of this.
  6. Clear pen. Ref has already blown a few calls.
  7. Yes but it's also why they're able to pay huge fees for rights. If they start offering cheaper subscription services, they can't pay the PL that much. This is worth paying attention to because less viewers usually leads to less subscribers and that leads to lower fees for rights. People waiting for the 'bubble' to explode should take notice of this.
  8. https://www.bloomberg.com/gadfly/articles/2016-11-11/mourinho-and-guardiola-are-not-doing-it-at-the-box-office?utm_content=gadfly&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&cmpid%3D=socialflow-twitter-gadfly This is extremely interesting for the long term.
  9. Of course he's a wearing a Yankees cap.
  10. You can click 'Points' and it shows you the points that you have during this gameweek. Yes, yes I know - but I don't want to make one click more than I should have to . Oh. Lazy bastard.
  11. You can click 'Points' and it shows you the points that you have during this gameweek.
  12. Leganes' defending was woeful for Messi's goal.
  13. He's still unstoppable (as much as he was then anyway) He's just a lot better in other departments such as playmaking and just in general decision making etc. Disagree, he doesn't have the top line speed to run away from the better defenders now. And top line speed is crucial in the biggest games. He still has a huge impact because of the other facets of his game, but he also has Neymar and Suarez to pass and work with. Five years ago, he could take a ball in midfield and score. These days, he needs good players to finish off his always-brilliant passes.
  14. I still love to watch Messi play but feel sad that he's not as fast anymore. Prime Messi was an unstoppable beast, these days he can't outrun a defender anymore.
  15. Remember the shit De Gea took in his first few months?
  16. Playing the Japs in 40 minutes. The city is buzzing, but if we lose this, it's going to be an impossible hole to climb out of.
