If we had a versatile fullback like Santon then we could afford to go with 3 total FBs. The same applies to the wing and midfield positions. A small squad full of good players can be successful, and we'd only need around 18 first team players and a few youth players to compete. We're still 5 players away from that (CB, versatile FB, winger, CM and striker).

If City get De Bruyne then they could score their way to the title.

Liverpool have a few players who could fetch big money in a year or two. Moreno is exciting as hell, Benteke will shine. Sturridge is their best player and he wouldn't look out of place at a team like Madrid if he could stay fit. Coutinho will do very well this season as well since he's got actual strikers to pass to.
