Beyond some base physical characteristics and occupation there is absolutely nothing similar about Keane, Smith and Xisco. edit: Not that Keane was worth £20m, but he was worth a damn sight more than 6m. There game is very similiar imo. Bellamy and Keane are both unselfish can spot a pass, similar kind of workrate. Alot of their work goes unnoticed. Fair comparison i think.

Alan Smith £6million Xisco £5-6million werent it. At other clubs - Robbie Keane - similiar type of player imo, 28 yrs old - £20million

Clueless. Aye, he's actually scored 16 goals in the last two and a half seasons. I counted 11. Unless you're including Wales. No, but I was wrong too: 9 goals at Liverpool in 2006-07, 4 last season at West Ham, one this season. 15 That's only part of what he brings to the table imo. He collected 4 free kicks on Monday and was at the center of nearly every dangerous attacking move. Pretty good football nous as well.

He's had injury problems throughout his career, before he came to us, while he was here, and since he's left. For that reason only, I have to reluctantly say no. The year we sold him and the year after with Blackburn, cant remember too much of his time at Liverpool his fitness was really good. I say he is worth the gamble, especially if we are in a relegation fight. For 5 million who else could we bring in who has more ability, honestly?
-
Clueless. In what way? Because I disagree that we should sign 29 year old players who have horrible fitness records and have been horrendous signings for their last two clubs? F***...I wonder if Blackburn fans are lobbying to get Damien Duff back? Time to move on. Actually West Ham fans love him. Rotated around like an arse at Liverpool didnt help. I sure they love him after the 4 or so goals he's scored for them. Carlton (How the f*** am I still in the Premier League) Cole has been more productive for them. Bellamy not a terrible player...it's just that all signs point to avoiding him. Stop now ok. Just stop. You don't know what your on about.

The best players are. It's a character trait. He is causing lots of trouble at West Ham and previously at Celtic and Blackburn .. definetly. He is a great player, when he last played for us he was becoming really good in front of goal, really unselfish player, good at crossing, work rate, determination, a positive influence on the pitch. Can do ALOT worse
-
yes. great player. he makes stuff happen.
-
Cacapa and Enrique happened there. Not outclassed.
-
Just imagine what these 4 between them are earning a week, crazy to think about it.
-
true, but its more credible than transfer rumours by papers. personally i dont think he would have any say on transfers in january.

Aquilani please.

The one from Roma is worth 2million apparently. So no Baptista Did he not say they would all be loans though, so the 2m would be for loan fees and wages etc. This is true, ye my bad. didnt read that part

Hysterical nonsense. Based on one game. Stunning insight you've got there. I don't agree with Thespence but I understand his frustration. And what's your point exactly? I understand his frustration too, but if I don't agree with something he's said (heat of the moment or not) I'll tell him so. OOOH GET YOU SISTER YOU SOUND SO BUTCH!!! Give it a rest. Your embarrassing yourself now.

Look at the pre match thread, idiot.

If we manage to win this, some of you guys need to have a fucking word. Game isn't even over and slagged off just about every fucking player. Playing against 10 men is difficult, JFK made one mistake from what i can see Jonas.. and he is coming back from a shoulder injury! Knee jerking much
-
You can blame JK for Jonas substition but aint done much else wrong today. Not our fault been shite in front of goal. They grabbed early goal took away ALL of our little confidence we had.
-
aye, that o.g from the corner was pretty damn solid.

I dont believe that and is two different teams. This year Duff has been, believe or not, good. I dont remember every saying that for Dyer he had the one or two decent games off top of my head Southampton and Leeds away. Out of interest dcmk, how old are you? 21 why is that relevant? Just to get an idea of how much of Dyer's career here you'd be able to remember. I remember everything.. he didnt develop at all at Newcastle. I don't think anyone can argue this, can they? He was very poor at passing, couldnt spot a pass either, poor at shooting, besides pace and workrate he really didn't bring anything to the team. I honestly think the SBR team carried him, especially Gary Speed. When we played JJ and KD start of our collapse. Both didnt do nothing. No positional sense, he was great at defending the near post have to admit. It's irrating that people here actually rate the guy! Damien Duff like it or not, has picked his form up .. he can shoot, does have a brain and can pass and cross alot better. no What do you disagree with?
