    Steven Taylor

lol. i rate him, a mistake in a complete lifeless team isnt the end of the world. anyone playing in our defense wouldnt be playing with confidence.
  2. i have money on Sunderland. what a bunch of cunts
  3. Fu Mong Chu Yes, insulting the fact that I'm not a Geordie is a perfectly logical way to justify your blinkered trust in a man from Doncaster. You think it is acceptable for a manager to be undermined by people upstairs. Ok. Each to their own.

    Save Newcastle United

Doesn't anyone want a cockney businessmen as their owner? WHY
  6. Are Spurs going to get relegated too? They are in trouble.
  7. Not completely. It can also be taken as a dig towards Wigan. If you look at it like 'Wigan would of had no chance of completed the signing if Newcastle had their house in order and pursued him'
  8. And this foreign big name would come to us in the state we're in at the moment - why? Because at least he won't walk everytime we sign a player that he dosn't know about. are you kidding me? any manager with any pride would not put up with that.
  9. He probably isnt in a position where he can. He probably cant say anything until him and the club are settled. Also on addressing the fans who has supported him - anything he says could just inflame the situation. We will hear his story one day, just when everything settles down.
  10. This is not true?? anyone who disagrees with above - wake up! Dear o dear. Thats right. We are driving him out, for the lone reason that he is from Buckinghamshire. Tomrrows chip wrappers Some fans genuinely do want him out because he is from down 'South' and he dont understand 'Newcastle Utd FC' and what the club means. So i agree its right imo. Also in that article he put 'and continental scouting system' so the journalist didn't think this was the 'lone reason'.
  11. This is not true?? anyone who disagrees with above - wake up!
  12. FFS when will majority on here learn, there is no anti-newcastle agenda anywhere out there. We get laughed at because we have always been a joke of a club, Keegan first stint 'I love it', self proclaimed 'best fans in the world' and the whole arrogance that we are a big club. It's all of a fault of our own. Yes, we can protest Mike Ashley - but at times on Saturday it wasn't effective just majorly embarrassing. Read up on any other team forums and i am willing to bet you will read something like 'Joke of a club'. They are hardly journalists they are JUST FOOTBALL FANS.
  13. I bet Martin Jol got the replacements he wanted. The club has grown since he has been there.
  14. Not sure, i like Pavy - everytime i have seen him play (not great deal) he has always had a bit of Teddy Sheringham about him, good off the ball movement and intelligent and Darrent Bent throughout his Premier League career nets a goal in every 2 games. So Spurs will do well imo if they sort out tactics.
  15. Bring in Wise as manager Keegan the new director of football Easy peasy.
  16. Its like Robbie Savage being a director of football. The mere thought of it is just plain wrong.
  17. If Jenas came on and got Fagan'd i wonder what the reaction would be like on here.
  18. How does anyone on this board know whether or not we *tried* to replace Milner? For all we know, we could have been placing bids all over the shop, especially as our eventual purchases were below the radar of the media, and were kicked back by either the player or the club. Ultimately, at the end of last season we were (and remain) a decidedly mid-tier team, outside of London, that cannot offer European football. It is a hard sell, no matter what we, as rose-tinted spec wearing fans, may think. We are not one of the fashionable clubs of the moment. Hopefully, we will be in the next few years, but let us not kid ourselves - unless we offer stupid money at mercenary players, I cannot see the future cream of the Premiership schlepping to the North East. All this speculation is infuriating. Because Ashley employed Dennis Wise, he is accused of offering "jobs for the boys." Christ, since Ashley introduced his (admittedly short-sited) system, we have signed a number of very promising players. The issue at hand has always been the shadow that the Director of Football etc. cast over Keegan, if the press is to be believed, but again - none of us know whether that is/was the case. For all we know, Keegan could have walked out because he asked for an extension to his contract and was refused. Until I hear Keegan and/or Ashley discuss their differences via press statements, I am reserving judgment on the matter and just hope, for the love of god, that our league position will not suffer because of the panto (I will settle for keeping our place in the Premiership!). There was an official statement released by Keegan via LMA and he left because he had a player forced upon him.
  19. Yup, just as bitchy and high strung. "A Nacho?! I requested a Schweinstiger you bastards! You don't think I'm worth a Schweinstiger now?! Huh?! Well f*** this then! I quit you hear me?! I quit!!! To hell with you cheapskate assholes! To hell with you!!!" Keegan raped my dog too.
  20. There are absolutely zero facts in your argument aside from Modric and Nasri! Nice work!
  21. If Keegan comes back, Ashley gets rid of Wise and changes the structure and all involved make sure it works - give the manager more say in transfers - then i support the guy. Besides from the last 3 weeks, he hasnt done much wrong.
