What the f*** do they go to the match for then? A quiet w*** in the corner, followed by a grotty pie at half time? I'm not slating those who wanted to move for cheaper seats, but christ on a bike...will they join in with at least cheering the team and maybes the odd song? I think it's coz they've just been sat in a quiet area of the ground where not much singing/shouting etc. goes on. Over the years they've just became conditioned that way. I got a shock when I sat with them one game last season. As I was shouting random outbursts I was just getting looked at like I was an idiot. I was glad to be back in my seat next game. You never know, sitting with a louder part of the crowd might give them a new perspective on things.

3 of my mates changed their seats to the singing section for this season and they have absolutely no intention of joining in the singing. They've just gone for the cheaper seats as it saved them about £260 or something. I reckon there'll be quite a few with the same idea.

I don't think any sane judge would award damages where the accusations are undeniably true.

Would honestly see any official magazine as being completely pointless and the damage it would cause the environment would far outweigh the benefits it would bring by giving me a valuable 'in-depth insight' into the lives of the players. I don't care what they get up to in their spare time as long as they perform on the pitch. This nicey nice everything's OK bollocks get's right on my tits when you look at how the team performs. It's may be my pessimistic ways but I'd rather read a good old whinge in The Mag than what Nicky Butt eats for breakfast. I remember reading a program years ago which gave an enthralling read into how Des Hamilton was struggling with his driving lessons - NO SHIT!!! - I'm surprised he managed to get in the car!

But then he'd have to come out and deny every rumour everytime a false claim came out. If he released quotes saying he has no plans of selling to 'American investors', then the next time something came up (selling a player, selling the club etc.), if he didn't release quotes denying it then, it'd be "OMG! Ashley has denied to comment therefore he definitely wants to sell!!! Buy our paper!!" You either comment on everything or nothing and sadly, it's easier to remain silent. Agree with that, definitely. Why should he respond to 2-bit tabloid reports like that? Ashley hasn't made his fortune by getting dragged into petty little issues like this. How many other owners mix with the fans wearing the club shirt? Yet the media gave him a dig for doing that as well. I think now he's probably decided to ignore the wankers completely or even give them reason to get a hard-on over a nothing story for his own amusement.
