  1. Just heard him rambling on about playing at Plough Lane and Robbie Earle making late runs or some shite.
  2. De Gea would have looked a right berk if that had flicked in off him
  3. Yep, think it's cloud cuckoo land that we'd even consider spending that amount on one player. No chance, don't care who it is. Not in January and not until our income starts to really grow.
  4. The lad who plays on a Sunday for Lemington club would have made a better effort to save that. Wayne Hennessy PL keeper, have a day off man
  5. Rubbish half asleep defending, but a nice finish
  6. Chelsea, if you believe all the shite people write, are in for every half decent player in world football, especially anyone we'd like to sign it seems
  7. Antony is absolute pony for the money
  8. Paqueta must wonder why he went there, he spends large portions of games with the ball either flying over his head or he's chasing it forlornly. He needs to be in a progressive possession-based side. Moyes' West Ham is completely the wrong setup.
  9. I don't know his goal tally but I bet he's missed 4 or 5 chances for every goal scored. Any half decent central striker with decent pace and movement could fill his boots up top for them
  10. They're a good side, 40pts at Christmas is excellent but we shouldn't fear anyone, we've given everyone we've played a game. EH makes all the difference.
  11. The penny will drop in time, that it's not all about money, in fact very little of it is. We're only just catching up on spending after 15 years of spending nowt ffs. I hate this type of argument, totally tries to negate the stunning work done on the training ground by EH. Like we're the only club spending, every club spends money ffs. West Ham have spent 150m to be bottom 4. Great argument for spending that is. My favorite comment in that thread was "They think they're Man City". Fuck me man...first off, we couldn't be further from them in the way we're trying to do things, last club i'd want to be compared with. Second, if we're taking that stupid ill-informed comment at face value, what exactly were Man City before Abu Dhabi came along and spent a billion quid on financing them?
  12. Think Bowen needs a move, stagnating under Moyes
  13. Brilliant hit from Martinelli but a good keeper should never concede that
  14. The signing of Nunez (basically their whole summer budget) would have been fantastic as a 20m developmental prospect, he has some amazing attributes, movement, speed and power. Unfortunately, he can't hit a barn door, needs 6 chances to score. Some players never really fix this, the level of composure required does sometimes come with experience. Will be interesting to see him develop, time is on his side.
  15. They've realized they need to spend big yet again, to keep up with us and our ability to field elites like Chris Wood.
  16. Howay West Ham, if it stays like this, makes our win even better
  17. Very arrogant fanbase generally (tbf that's quite typical of online fans but also know a couple irl and they're not that different tbh). Watching the Tyneside Life matchday video from April, a few twats from down there in that. They've had great relative success in the past 6-7 years but did basically fuck all for a century before that and act like they've always been a top 5 side. Poxy city an all. I was happy for them and their title success but their entitled happy clapper fans can fuck off.
  18. That is the way the rule is implemented I suppose and maybe it's best there's no room for interpretation as it'd be chaotic trying to determine
  19. Thought that touch that made Nketiah offside, looked accidental by Saka, might be wrong
  20. I think when you look at our team, it's clear we're one of the best-coached and most dynamic teams in the country. Six straight wins, best defensive record in the league, putting 3s, 4s and 5s past decent teams. If we lack anything, it's quality squad depth and a bit of experience of being in the position we're in. Psychologically right now, we're just playing relaxed and brilliantly coached with a quality gameplan each week. The struggle might come with injuries or that bit of experience of being in a race for top 4. I think we may address this in January but we'll see, I just trust everything they're doing right now and that's a great feeling.
  21. Moyes looking like he just rolled out of his scratcher, hair all tousled, put a comb through it man
