How did we fail to score against Palace in 3 whole games man, they're terrible
-
Strange player Bamford, spends a lot of time looking fairly useless, but has ability and moments like that
-
Roy still has quality hair somehow
-
According to some of the bright sparks on red cafe, he's better than Isak
-
Watching their highlights, can't get over how bad Chelsea are like. Don't think Sa made one save in the game. You'd think with their squad, even though they're a mess, they'd even accidently have a shot or create something
-
Yeah she's the pits, a total homer
-
Infamous on here for some wine-fuelled and fun-filled discussions on here...maybe it's just me that noticed
-
Are you with Rod?
-
Watched it again, you're right. It was still guapo though.

I haven't seen an angle yet where it definitively wasn't going in, it looked like it could have been going towards the back post but maybe I need to see a different angle. Or get some new glasses.

Maybe i'm just a bit thick...but can anyone explain to me why Joelinton's goal was an OG? I mean wasn't it just an attempted save that goes through his legs?
-
Some footwork by Djenepo wow
-
Tim Howard with his usual stunning analysis of a half. "I wouldn't say Southampton need to push it second half". Aye, they're only marooned at the bottom of the league, what's one more defeat eh.
-
Typical, been mostly Southampton
-
Coufal clearly handled the ball and it lead to West Ham's goal today, wasn't even looked at, despite being quite clearly a handball. Consistency doesn't exist in this league.

Chelsea aren't too far off being in a relegation battle
-
OG from Fulham, Fulham had been well on top as well.

Think he also commented that watching Kehrer was like watching "an elephant in a tree". Made me chuckle -
Already

Think Burnley coming up is mildly interesting. Curious to see Kompany's brand of football, will certainly be a novelty to Dyche's style.

I see Hull's equalizer came in the 98th minute, shame
-
Wasn't he meant to be the more talented of the two (maybe by Norwich fans, don't recall) at the time we signed his brother? Seem to recall some noise we signed the "wrong" one or something.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
LionOfGosforth replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
I see a lot of posts in here about how Maddison "wouldn't fit with how we play" and "won't work in our system". I think people are forgetting that EH is a fucking tactical genius and, if we did sign him, would get the best out of him. Also, do people actually think we will always play the same way, all the time, forever? Howay man, teams, tactics and coaching evolves constantly. We will evolve under EH as well, he knows if we don't, we effectively stand still, particularly when teams catch on. Because we currently play a high energy, high pressing 4-3-3 without a 10, doesn't mean we won't ever play without a 10, or find ways to effectively utilize elegant creative players, which Maddison certainly is. -
Good one Frank. A good understanding of the squad...I think you'll find it's changed a bit since you were last there.
