Nothing quite so exciting as a buccaneering Maguire trying to get on the end of a FK and putting it wide when easier to score

"Worth 50m+"...misses from 6 yards

On takeover day, I remember I wasn't thinking "Ok now we can go out and sign the worlds best players!", instead I recall musing "Well at least we won't ever again have to sell our best players to fund stands like we did in the 80s etc). Last thing on my mind was that 3 years on i'd be sitting here absolutely desperate for the sales of fringe players so that we could spend anything at all. Crazy.

Madrid 3-0, absolutely useless goalkeeping

Vini cheating again

Without wanting to sound simplistic or melodramatic, the cartel 6 and their garbage rules won't let us have him which fucking stinks as he would indeed be perfect for us. We're going to have to find the "next" version of a similar player before the grubby cunts find him first.

Haaland gets on my wick the gangly, clumsy, miss piggy looking cunt

I see 2 purple shirts and about 8 blue ones just sort of standing around marking thin air. Goal. Pathetic

State of Grealish, looks like he just rolled out of a local club.

Watch the champo or league 1, they're all at it and they're mostly shit at it. Cheers Pep

Ipswich still look like a league 1 side

Not only that, as professionals making a huge wedge, they should want to adapt, learn new systems, become more than they currently are. There's not an industry on the planet pays more and yet so many involved don't want to, or can't be arsed, to be open to new ideas. Almost like once they've got the fat contract, why bother?

Oof, but props on the verbiage

Yep and I don't know if he has the pragmatism to just play a basic system, get a few wins and get to the summer where he can mold his squad to be more suited to his philosophy.

More like a pay me off and get me out of here statement

It's a real shame City had to have a run of games against the shit of the division like West Ham. Now they have Ipswich who really are just a bit crap

Got Le Saux and Champion on USA channel, don't envy you listening to that

Mostly when i've watched them with an analytical eye under Anorim, they always seem to just lack control. Poor and rushed in possession. Only really dangerous on the counter or from a moment from Fernandes or Amad. Everything looks chaotic and frenetic, like he's guessing where to put which pieces on the chess board. Often find myself wondering how spectacularly it can go wrong on a given day, can't imagine being emotionally invested in them.

Southampton vs. Newcastle United: 25/01/25 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

To be clear, I wasn't saying I expect us to lose or anything, just that it might be a lot closer than some are predicting and we need to be on it. -
That's the sensible path but you never know with Ratcliffe

That's honest at least. I was chatting with someone the other day who made the argument that this is the worst Man Utd team, relative to net spend, in their history. I had said your 88/89 team was worse but that was with an ageing Brian Mclair up top and not a 70m forward. So in the end, I had to agree. Does Anorim get to the summer and a full backing?

Agree with that, they've had horrible hammerings but they play decent stuff and just can't seem to quite make it happen consistently in the final third. If we're off in any way again, this could be a lot stickier than it should be. -
So what was the problem today lad? I only saw a few minutes tbf, Onana is a joke obviously (still capable of surprising agility at times). What happened otherwise?
