Looks like we ramped up within 7 days this time, canny

What is it with these highly-rated players having cunts, with faces you want to smash to bits, for agents? Are they all cunts with stupid faces?

Aye was class in here until about 10 minutes ago. Bored now, stopping checking as of now.

Posting this here because it's more of a general question really. Our general struggles in the market got me thinking How do we think are we perceived by the majority of players with no ties to the club? Are we seen as a big-time project with huge potential, an elite coach, massive fanbase, great players etc? I think for the majority of our fans, that's how i'd categorize us, certainly until this summer. Signings of Isak, Tonali, Botman, Bruno and a few others surely back up this view. Or are we just seen as number 7 or 8 on the list of clubs most players are looking to join when looking at the PL? You're an up and coming talent with big potential and looking to move (Pedro, Ekitike etc). You say to your agent, I want to play for a top PL side. Here's my list, it's Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs in roughly that order. If I can't get one of those, i'll settle for Villa or Newcastle if they'll pay me the wages? Is that the limit of our appeal? 7 or 8 on a list?

And therein lies one of the main issues with this window. We're just not pivoting at all. Players a notch below what the cartel want can still be good players that can be developed. One target at a time, gazumped by one of the ESL creeps, move on, wait a week, bid for another. No wonder we're struggling to sign what we need.
-
Was only referring to the window in general, not the overall impact to our squad which would have been bad. It's bad enough now, Christ knows what the speculation will be like a year from now if we don't make CL again which is the cartel's brief it seems.
-
Anyone think that, perversely, this window might have gone better if we hadn't made CL It seems like we'd have maybe gone down the road of good players that the ESL pricks don't want and therefore we might actually have gotten more of our targets. Dunno, bored af with it all and spit-balling mostly but it has occurred to me a couple of times.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
LionOfGosforth replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Looked like he lost concentration climbing down the steps there -
Never been so utterly exhausted by inactivity

Between PSR, complicit shit-stirring media, shill reporters doing the filthy ESL clubs' bidding, our rudderless operational status, star players unsettled and this endless summer of shite, finding it hard to muster caring about any of it anymore tbh.

Lots of exploring today

Interesting that he wasn't agitating for a move after we finished 7th and broadly had little to look forward to the following season. Fast forward a year and we've won a cup and qualified for CL, making him a club legend and NOW he wants to leave? I'm pretty shocked by it (assuming it goes that way, not jumping the gun). He never seemed the type to try something like this. Partly I blame the lickspittle so-called journalists doing the filthy ESL wanks' bidding like Romano, unsettling him and there wasn't even any type of formal bid. If he ends up at that club of cunts, we might as well wave the white flag.

Worth it to piss on all their time wasting

Park deserves more game time

What are we doing man, farting around and low-balling again in the most expensive market in the world

Surprised Liverpool or Chelsea didn't want him

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)
LionOfGosforth replied to Miggys First Goal's topic in Football
I think they'll probably end up being excellent for them (assuming Ekitike signs) but 200m for two players who haven't played a minute in the PL s quite the risk overall. -

Just proves what a pile of shite 120m for our player is. 90m for Ekitike, while he may end up being worth that, is wild money for a player not remotely proven in this league. If he is truly worth that amount, don't even come to the table to discuss Isak without offering twice that. Cunts.
