Sheff Utd are useless. Just can't rely on any team around the Mackems to put together a solid string of results.

Thanks, glad it's painless. I'm ok as a British citizen but my GF would need to do this as a US citizen

Do you know if that's only for non-UK passport holders? I'd assume so

Most underrated player we have?

Newcastle United vs. Arsenal [EFL Cup]: 05/02/25 @ 20:00 (SkySports)
LionOfGosforth replied to Paully's topic in Football
Think the key is in how Eddie sets us up. Let's be aggressive, not passive. That plays into their hands. Go for an early goal, get the crowd with us, we know how good our crowd can be at times and conversely how shit it can be in adversity at times. Leave it all on the pitch, no regrets. -
Feel the same, it's exhausting hoping they'll drop points ever game, just get it over with, they're coming up. That league is fucking crap man.

Boro about as useless as the rest of that division

I mean I like Gordon a lot as a player, and like you said, seems a top bloke but his body language has been pretty off to me for a good while. I thought he perked up quite a bit after getting the new deal but recently has seemed a bit mopey on the pitch at times, not the same as last year at all. Lot of quality at times, wouldn't want to lose him but if we could stand to lose one of our purples, it might be him, gun pointed to my head. Wish we could just find creative ways to increase our revenue instead but it's going to take years.

Gordon for 70m+ wouldn't shock me that much. Bruno seems like he might be here for the full journey and Isak is too expensive for all but a couple of clubs.

How much have they spent in this window now??

Martinez injury looked nasty

No wonder his agent is grinning

Liverpool looked hungover that day. Man Utd well worth a draw that day but utterly shit every other time i've seen them.

Wow, Man Utd. Shambolic that like, no excuses whatsoever

Today was a real sickener like, had all the elements of the worst type of defeat. Slow play, poor control in possession, crap finishing, soft defending, reactive subs after pissing away a lead. It was pretty rubbish and Fulham weren't even particularly good, which makes it all the more galling. Fulham did have bench options though, actual experienced forwards to bring on and refresh things and it made all the difference for them. We don't have the same options thanks to PSR and, admittedly, being poor sellers overall. Leaves us with an unbalanced squad that's looking stale and tired again, just like it was pre-Leicester in December. It's going to be this way for the remainder of the season, we'll be streaky and susceptible to poor displays and results. Still a lot to play for.

Play like this against Arsenal, we won't need to be planning any hotels in London. This is abject.

Brest goal disallowed for one of those kneecap offsides and 2 minutes later the inevitable happens. Hate the modern game sometime.
-
Bra disallows the goal

How do we ever get back to the time before it was acceptable for players to exaggerate every fucking thing? Just watched a Brest midfielder get breathed on by Tchouameni and he proceeded to roll around in a ball of "pain" for 30 seconds before getting up and just running off, and nobody says anything or even seems to notice it. You already got the FK, why do you have to go on like you have a season-ending injury? Christ this has to be in the top 5 things to fix in the modern game, it's shit.

Wilson on the deck again the little wank

Every time I see Pacqueta I wonder when he's going to get banned, the denying wrong-doing nonce
