Whoever we do end up signing, the most exciting thing is you know they're being signed with a plan in mind, for EH to work with them and develop them and to augment the quality we have. It won't be haphazard and without any forethought or planning like the entirety of the Ashley era. That's what excites me the most, not so much the specific names we're linked with. It's so nice to have real trust in the club these days on a sporting level.

Clearly an excellent player, even then. Unfortunately, he played in that 17-19 era that just totally passed me by, I had completely stopped giving a fuck and that whole period from about 2014ish to 2021, I barely recall any of it, except the Rafa period and promotion. I see highlights from that era now and it's like seeing it for the first time.

Yeah I think that was the summer when a lot of big money (for the time) strikers moved around. We signed Les, Armstrong to Spurs, Collymore to Liverpool as well
-
Juve level and after my prior comments, of course Pogba was involved
-
Cuadrado feels like he's been at Juve for years, his Chelsea days seem like a lifetime ago, thought he was decent bac then
-
Possibly, haven't seen a ton of Italian footy this year, was more a comment on his career past few years
-
Would love to see Chiesa, on the other hand, come back close to what he was, he was fantastic before the injuries
-
If by star you mean overpriced flop, robbing massive wages for little in return, aye
-
Pogba on for Di Maria, pretty much sums up what's wrong with some of these "big" European sides
-
Chiesa on for Juve, looks well off the pace post-injuries
-
Sevilla should have scored again, En-Nesyri fluffs it, Juve look crap
-
Sevilla lead, well deserved
-
Curious about Wirtz too, not that we're linked with him, but heard a lot about him and haven't seen him play
-
Juventus's shirt looks like it's inside out

Zenden was fairly decent for Chelsea if memory serves, though not in Robert's class. Jeffers was just shit and a right cunt to boot. The Solako thing, I had totally forgotten that happened, think he signed for Coventry instead and played against us opening day. Ginola was fucking incredible that day as well
-
I could swear our first choices in those positions that summer were Zenden and Jeffers, thank fuck we got those two instead
-
Milan have been dirty fuckers like, a few times they've left studs in and got away with a forearm smash to the belly on a corner
-
Have a vague recollection of him scoring two worldies from range on his debut for Inter Edit - he did, two against Brescia late to win 2-1. Also Ronaldo's Inter debut game in 97
-
Alvaro Recoba
-
Milan have been utter pony. Time to put that Kettle lad on
-
That explains it, looked a season ender
-
Sure he cattled his knee at the WC, pretty good recovery like
-
Wonder if The Kettle will get put on second half
-
Milan are a mess, glad our Sven isn't turning out in the game for these mugs
