That image man.. This 360 degrees thingy of the SOL has the potential to provide endless hilarity..
  5. He clearly owed Whelan something, I think Lerner would respect that. My concern with Martinez is I don't think he's strong enough to grab hold of the club, which is what we need. Lambert would be. Am I the only one whos a bit meh about Lambert? I would say so yeah, he's taken Norwich from League 1 to top 10 in the Premier League in 3 seasons and his Norwich side have impressed me alot more than Swansea have for example. Maybe its down to the fact that hes similarly incomprehensible to me as Dalglish but I've just been a bit meh about Norwich all season, Swansea at least have played some good stuff with players who you wouldn't expect it out of but both have been fortunate in the fact below them is a lot of crap, they may not get so lucky next season Whereas Norwich haven't?
  6. Can't see Torres wanting to move back to Atletico..
  7. I see Marveaux (if he manages to regain fitness, which is far from certain) more as a wide player in a 4-3-3 than as one of the three central midfielders, where we need a more physical player if you ask me. Also, we could do with more goals from midfield and a dead ball specialist, all of which would be resolved by bringing in Sigurdsson. Besides Ben Arfa and Marveaux we've got Ba (I know), Jonas, Obertan, Ferguson and Sammy for the wide positions, so I'd say we're well stocked there.
  8. Helped his old team out. Will probably be nicely rewarded.
  9. €6,5m? They bought him for €3,1m two years ago, signed a 5-year deal and has scored 32 goals in Eresdivisie this season. Release clause
  10. His time has peaked here. Poor footballer. Needs to go!
  11. Incredible way to end the season. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Fergie.
  12. Unbelievable season. Well done lads.
  13. It's what Mourinho said - both of Europe's best teams are out in the semi finals after having had to play there most important game of the season (El Clasico) on the weekend just between the semi finals. So, the final will be contested of the B-Teams of Bayern and Chelsea - 2nd and 5th of their respective leagues.
  14. Funny how the CHAMPIONS league final this year will be contested by two teams who have been nowhere near the strongest team in their own domestic league.
