I notice a nazza06 comment there, in the train video, who signed up here today. Idiot. actually when i first saw the video i saw it as jsut a bit of harmless banter between the newcastle and frankfurt fans, i didn't know anything about racism going on. Fair play, mate. I did mean idiot in an "eejit" type of sense, wasn't being serious. How could he not know there was any racism involved when his comment was singing the Kebab song? I don't see how that was a harmless bit of banter singling out one bloke because he was Turkish. Why wasn't there a song about a bratwurst shop?? The guy didn't look bothered atall and i saw it in the same light i do when people call me "haggis" or mention "skirts" to me (meaning kilts) because I'm from Scotland. I see the light hearted side of things like this and so without knowing about the attack on the Turkish bloke in the stadium I wasn't aware that the chanting was meant in a racist way. Hope you can understand where i'm coming from. I suppose, mate. It just looked like they were picking on the one bloke and nobody else.

A cup win and mid-table would suit me fine. The prem is very competitive this year (apart from Chelsea and the Manc's) and there are at least 6 teams who are all within reaching 3rd place right now. I don't really seeing us being able to get into Europe next year unless we go on some incredible run in the new year. Intertoto qualification looks like the only thing attainable and that will be tough to get. I wasn't impressed when Freddy hired Glen, but I've backed him since and will continue to back him until he's gone. I just don't see much point in calling for his head in every thread of this forum, it get's a touch redundant. I would expect if this Belgravia takeover happens Glen would be replaced as manager at the end of his 1 year contract. If not, I think Fred will extend it. Who really knows, anyway, I certainly don't and no one on this forum does.
