This isn't surprising; just having Woltemade there means it's a very different unit, not to mention Elanga whose strengths are also different to what we had before. You might say it's copium cos we're losing (but I've said it before more than once this season); there's gonna be some growing pains this season. The team doesn't look wildly different but losing Isak has meant a shake-up. Feel like we'll have to be patient and trust the process.

Forest fans must have serious "we can't have nice things" feelings. Such an incredible stretch of form, with promise of Champions League and cup finals, then months of bad vibes culminating in the horror of Ange, European embarrassment and an expected relegation scrap.

Sick of losing and/or being rubbish against this bunch of nowts. Begrudgingly would take a draw but starting to feel like we owe them one; particularly after the cup defeat.

Saying "there's not a culture for giving youngsters a proper chance" is far too strong a criticism and ignores the context about the high levels we're competing at. Evidencing that with 'Miley doesn't play much' totally kills the argument, too; he features in most games and already has 50 appearances under his belt at 19 years of age. That's with incredible competition for his position. 'There's very few academy players capable of playing for a team chasing the Champions League' would probably be a more accurate statement. Miley's brother couldn't even find a Football League club. It feels like we've recruited an awful lot so it remains to be seen if any of them make the cut.

Is a defensive midfielder? Seems more like a box-to-box to me. His goal output has always been really low and was definitely one of the things that eased my annoyance at us selling him; he never looks like scoring.

Great to see him playing so well. Only caught the first half of the Wales game from these two matches and it was fantastic to see him playing with so much freedom and directness. Hopefully, if that left-wing spot is his to lose going into the World Cup, it'll keep him on his toes. He's an exceptional asset to us on his day. I'm a massive Gordon fan and have faith that he's gonna have a good season for us.
