What's been encouraging from Gordon on these last couple of games is that he's mixed up his game a bit by going on the outside occasionally. He's usually very predictable.

Think some of the criticism is predictably harsh but Barnes definitely looks a bit lost in this inside-right role. Gordon has been decent though, got at his man a few times. Thought Murphy was okay too other than that brainless giveaway. Everton are defending well in numbers.

Frustrating half. Hopefully everyone in that stadium remains patient and the anxiety doesn't creep in too much. Don't feel like the shape is working particularly effectively against their organised low block. Hadn't realised major honours were quite so infrequent for Aberdeen. Good for them. Mixed feelings and the Mackems. I swear the long sleeves could be dipped collar to cuff in dogshit and we'd still get fire emojis from some of yous.

I'm definitely a fanny day-to-day but all of my objectionable aspects of the kit haven't been remedied by being worn by the players.
