Dropping the two points at Everton hasn't turned out to be pivotal. There's a million sliding doors moments in a season with 380 matches, but I think we can afford to be glass half full, and say we've gained 7th when the odds weren't especially in our favour. But if you have to identify a moment which is most accountable for us not clinching 6th, it's Stamford Bridge. We only needed a draw.

Agree with everyone's sentiments re Big Joe. Absolutely bullied them at times; a glorious sight. Very impressed again with Hall, he's got some great technique. However. Last day of the season 2010/11 - never forget.

Do agree. Frustrating and typical as it is to lose Gordon, we've lamented the inability to rotate him, but the £40m option - bought for this very scenario - is there now, so can't cry too much. Hope he steps up.
