Absolutely gagging for it now.

Vile news. But again, just sums up the season. We got ourselves into a position to snatch it and then Isak gets the flu and Gordon gets stricken too. Fucking wank.

Hentai auto-corrects to henna on mine.

Lunacy if Chewce bin off Pochettino despite him clearly steering them back onto the straight and narrow. 6th is a good achievement for them given where they were in the winter; they've only lost once in the last 14 games and that was at the Emirates. That they might replace him with a rookie with no experience in top tier football would be absolutely backward. If you're someone like McKenna then you only need to look at Potter to know that you should stay well, well clear of that awful shit-tip of a club.

Would be very sad to see Pope go. He's been mostly tremendous when he's played.

I can't believe that fantastic Dortmund team have been so far off the pace in the Bundesliga. Leverkusen have run away with it of course but Dortmund are miles off even second. Speaking of which; fun to see Stuttgart pip Bayern to second.

StuntPegg does n'all tho

They have been, but I think Luton deserve some credit for having made a somewhat decent fist of it. It's absolutely obscene that they have featured in the Premier League at all, let's be honest. Burnley and Sheffield United are a disgrace and if it wasn't for the fact we tend to get positive results, I'd never have them back. Next season will hopefully be a bit different (and better, from the neutral point of view). You'd certainly expect Leicester to be pretty well-equipped. Last season really was an aberration in their recent history.

Fucking bastards, Chelsea.
-
Bit surprised we're after any keeper this summer tbh. One that would expect to be first choice, anyway. Dubravka needs replacing but I don't think Pope does; he's a fantastic goalie.
-
I've no idea (because I'm generally clueless, not because there isn't a logical answer). The only reason why I've always been able to do it is because I've never updated my Twitter app, meaning it defaults to the traditional link whenever I share.

Just whack em in anyway. I'll edit them if I see it.
-
Step 5; Step 1 being the National League (which York are in)?
-
Some of the names people come up with are funny I must admit but I'd love an embargo on the dissing of clubs who aren't among the higher echelons of European football. It comes across a bit 'Western'. Put some respect on Zimbru Chisinau's name, dammit.
-
Ngl I'd definitely want something newer and shinier than Ross Barkley. We're not gonna be signing 30+s this summer anyway; we need to get the age of the squad down.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

I guess this is why Howe replaced Dubravka with Pope the first chance he got two summers ago? He's just so loyal to Dubravka. He's so stupid. What a stupid manager. Pope isn't starting because he obviously isn't ready to. But he's on the bench because even a half-fit Pope is a better option than the reserve goalies. People out there thinking he just doesn't want to play Pope. Absolutely batshit. -
Well we're in 7th now so it's in our hands. We just need to beat a dodgy team thats got nothing to play for. The season hasn't been 'done' at any single point.
-
we're literally still in the driving seat for European football, even now.
-
That moment where Longstaff strode forward unopposed with at least three options in front of him in the box (as well as a shooting opportunity) and just passed it straight to a defender.

Despite our away form it's not inconceivable that we go to Brentford and win. They've been ropey this season and we have won games on the road. It's a really big game, like. Whether you've taken an interest in the Conference League or not, there's no meaningful argument to suggest it would be better to be out of it than in it. Even if you think we'd benefit from the free midweeks, it would be more beneficial to actually become further accustomed to that practice; meanwhile Villa have proven that it needn't be overly burdensome.
-
He still not been online, then? Sensible. Sensible.
-
I would've loved Europa League and it would absolutely have been my preference, but now that the Conference League is all that's realistically available to us, I'm desperate for us to be in it. Funny how it required us being in this very position for me to establish that in my head. I feel a lot more enthusiastic about it with Villa not having won it. Can't fucking believe Chelsea are coming out of this season with something to show for it. Awful, awful pricks. They'll never fuck off, will they?
-
You thought we lacked courage/were afraid?
-
Yeah. 'Bottled it' is somehow synonymous now with losing any particularly high stakes match. There was nothing wrong with our bottle as you say, we just weren't effective enough. It was very similar to a lot of performances away from home this season, especially Chelsea. Edit: actually, thinking back, Chelsea was one where we weren't as committed as I thought we should've been.

Thought he gave us a fair bit tbh. Unless you mean the bar [/rafa]
