Yeah he was really positive with his passing last night, including that one headed pass into Gordon which led to the Ramsey incident. I thought he had the better of Mazraoui all night. Think it was him he robbed the ball off on the touchline, he beat him to play that low ball across the box which Barnes should've left for Burn, and he also bought the free-kick off him (that Tonali whipped in). Thought it was a solid 7/10 performance. After the start he had we're looking for green shoots and he's clearly providing them imo. Means nowt if he doesn't keep progressing from here obvs.

His plot armour is unreal like. Madness he's never seen red for us.

Fantastic. Surely that'll do. surely I can go to bed now.

I think he's always got a bit of a staggery dawdle when he's looking done. Doubt it's anything but then again, someone will probably be injured. Or maybe the one week we don't get one, we just get a suspension instead.

I'm embarrassed to say it's literally just the fact we lost badly at home at the weekend.

God this is what it's all about isn't it, lads. This is gonna keep me going for the admittedly short time before the next one. I would happily swap the season for a better one but, fuck me, a big league win when we're so desperate for one can sometimes just hit different. Amazing tonic for a troubled soul!

Against Man City. 😑

He put in two overhit crosses in relatively quick succession but other than that he was good. He drilled a low one across not long after which could easily have been converted. Lots of positive actions with the ball, caused trouble by coming inside, absolutely ruined Mazraoui at one point which led the free-kick from which we could've had a pen. Won a fair few aerially too. He had a good game, no doubt about it.

Bit blinkered if you're not giving him his dues tonight. Couple of poor crosses aside he was very positive.
-
Elanga being really good tonight makes it a bit of a brainer, mind.
-
Aye, nowt wrong with that at all. The most recent criticism has been really over the top, but it goes without saying that he has to keep it up. His close control was a lot better tonight and I liked the way he moved centrally, with and without the ball. Two absolutely dire crosses in the first half mind.
-
Deserves more adulation in here. Absolutely brilliant shift from him tonight.
-
Yeah, always been the tipping point for me. I've thought I might have seen it once or twice in his time here but it's never been more sustained than a really dodgy half. They still run through brick walls for him and as long as that's the case, we'll always be at least competitive.

Didn't realise Osula won the ball in the first place. What a goal man.
-
Unbelievable performance. Absolutely brilliant all night. Ruined Cunha.
-
Even if you doubt his choices, the fact the players still give absolutely everything for him really does count for something.
-
Fair fucks. Huge save from Zirkzee.
-
I have never made that noise before in my life when that goal went in.
-
Looking forward to this being dead as fuck for a couple of days.

Willock has put a fucking shift in
