Must say I've seen this season's kit out and about more than any other I can recall in years.

Some proper European ties for Brighton there. -

I'm aware of the potential hypocrisy but hopefully we stay humble and don't become a club that is defined by the wealth of its owners. All they've done so far is unshackle us. -

Don't think you can compare that superficial entity to 90s Barcelona in any way tbh. PSG are rotten; easily the worst part of the draw, but that's the nature of being in this competition - you're never far from rubbing shoulders with minging clubs. -
The skyline goalie top recreation is gonna look so sick with sela emblazoned on it.

We'll regret not signing a CB, like. Schar gets smashed to bits every week.

Great point. Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Fulham and Wolves have all courted Saudi investment this summer by virtue of player sales. Fuck em.

It's probably just the whiplash of Sunday's hideous defeat, Botman's fitness question marks and the two extremely difficult cup draws; but I feel now like we're a bit short of some bona fide CL+PL experience and kinda wish we were involved in today's skirmish. I know players like Trippier don't grow on trees but I'd love us to randomly pick up another 'been there done that'er on loan or something.

Chris Waugh could have explained it and George Caulkin would've told him to bore off, cue hysterics.

Mad how we're straight back into Europe once Ashley fucked off. Definitely feels like we belong in European competition. Nine out 14 seasons pre-Ashley we made it (11 if you count failed Intertoto missions); one out of 14 during the time he was here. -

Couldn't give a fuck about the difficulty, just didn't want PSG. Superficial bollocks club. Fuck it, Dortmund and AC are amazing clashes. -

Last year teams received €2.8m for every game they won in the group stage and €930k for every draw in the group stage. So you're looking at a minimum of €8.4m if your group performance is good enough to qualify. Then each club got an additional €9.6m as a prize for actually qualifying for the Last 16. Distribution to clubs from the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League, UEFA -
Can you elaborate on what you mean pls. It's only me but I know I'd just feel somewhat disaffected after such relentless success. Over the past six seasons you've won 76% (or avoided defeat in 87%) of all Premier League matches scoring an average of 2.54 goals per game. In addition to 12 competitive cup finals, nine of which resulted in silverware. If you still feel every goal and every win in the same way you always have, absolutely credit to you, genuinely. I just know it would be diluted for me at this point.

I think I'd be ready for a bit of jeopardy if I was a Man City fan.

Forgot they've got the Club World Cup to contend with as well this year. Doesn't really matter given their strength in depth but you'd imagine this competition will be low priority this year.
