Unless anyone here works for NUFC (by "works" I mean with the squad on the training pitch, physio room or somewhere else where they can make a knowledgeable judgement on a player's fitness) we can't know who is or isn't fit. I'll take Hatem word on when he's fit over someone's opinion on here. Hatem also said Pardew was a shit manager. Link? Whooshed. There's a bit from the same article in my sig.

  6. They should've woken up before he went went.

  9. Rooney is full blown AM now so it's not really 4-4-2 Every week the same, some monkey says manu play 442. Rooney is clearly the withdrawn forward working the midfield. It's strange but i think buying RVP has actually strengthened Yanited's midfield it's allowed Rooney to play a lot deeper and not just do what he has done today but back the play up and just be the playmaker of the team. Unlike the glorified SS of last season. Coming into the box late means he isn't marked or picked up. Boom.

Basically - he was told to clear up his mess first, and sell the players that were sitting in the reserves on big contracts. He was asked several times to move some of the big wage players he wasn't using on - basically, to manage his squad like every other manager does. He kept saying he would but then didn't. He kept asking fr more money from Lerner, which he got, but still didn't move players on. The final argument was because Lerner wouldn't let him spend a huge wad on Aiden McGeady until he'd moved some players on *first* That's specifically what he walked over. Incidentally, his media backers saying Short hasn't backed him despite him spunking 25m on just two home market players sums up everything about the bloke. iirc there was a huge pool of 'back up' players on 50-60k
  12. I'd take one, tbh. Not getting good vibes from this. Bale's injury will be a big boost for us, but we're missing Mirallas a lot the past month. Jelavic is off-form and our defence is really not solid at all. A game without getting screwed by the ref would be nice, though.[/bitchy] YOu've had your little run this year. [/bitchesque]

He doesn't attack teams anymore. The old Villa used to go after sides now and again.

MON was a different animal then. Was linked weekly with the ManU job.
