    Alan Pardew

This is my biggest annoyance. Every team in the league attacks better as a team than we do and yet we have some better players than a lot of these teams. It always seems that we have to work our arses off just to create one chance, where it seems to flow so much more naturally for our opposition. We've got no fluidity whatsoever in our play. It's so disjointed. Very little link play. ie no real link forward. (No Michu or Dempsey or the like). Ball flying over the midfield etc...Berbatov did the job for them yesterday linking the def with the attack. The closest we have is Hatem but our forwards just run like lemmings straight into the center of the box and are easily covered. Not a brain cell between em. Hatem does his best but spends that much time defending he'll be our new left back soon.

Yeah there have been one or two stealthily critical articles in the papers lately as well. Thing is with Pards there are plenty getting ready to take piece of him.

Mainly as the media haven't stuck the boot in yet. Soon as Sky sports etc starts twisting the knife the sheep aka general public will sharp change their tune. Yup.

If we go through this window with Pardew our fate is totally in his hands. You feel fear right?

    Papiss Cissé

One things is for certain as soon as Ba leaves his knee will go.

not even sure he does considering the way he's going on with Jonas/Marveaux situation. It's clear to everyone (except Pardew apparently) that he's been fucking abysmal all season. Our defensive weakness is why Jonas is getting the nod, Marv is a talent but a light weight who looks scared he will shatter under a tackle. Jonas may be lacking in the attacking sense but work ethic and tracking back is still 100%. Last thing we need is to weaken our 3 man midfield with Marv, especially away from home. Think this is the only reason he starts.
  7. what??? thought we were lucky to only concede 2. Hitting the bar, hitting the crossbar, getting a header cleared off the line.. controlling the game almost completely the whole 2nd half - conceding a goal against the run of play. We were unlucky. Is right. We played a lot better last night then we have in games gone by. Not to brush any bad performance under the rug but Fulham defended really well This is the response I was expecting from most fans, and I think it was the feeling at the ground too. Not a performance to get angry about at all. Think the anger comes from the fact that even when the team are on their mettle they still don't know how to create chances or keep the ball in a meaningful way. The players have the tools but the style and tactics are blunting them. Defensive errors are gonna happen in every game to most sides but they dictate results and happen more often when the side isn't playing a cohesive game (the basics are wrong). As a unit in the PL you can't play two out and out forwards even if one is pretending to play on the wing (and can't even play there cause he is only really a goal machine). The anger comes from the fact that this has been going on for months now.

The performance was decent by recent dogshit standards yes. There was a little bit more passing and a little bit more 'hurry up' about the side. But the tactics and subs negated any chance of ever winning the game even tho we were lucky not to be 3 down by half time. Pardew will never give up the long ball as his primary tactic. NEVER. There's a reason we're top of the long ball league. 34 hit and hope crosses into the box (7 successful) 26 long punts to anyone somewhere in their half. I'd say out of those 60 passes about 12 was to one of our players. No point in handicapping a side like this by continually giving the ball to the other team. No wonder he goes on about energy levels.

Pards hasn't really understood or will give into the fact that the only way these days a side plays two strikers is if one drops off deep and can actually play that role (neither Ba or Cisse can to any great degree). Unless you have a Ruiz or Michu or Dempsey or as Berbatov showed tonight (drifting about) you really should be playing one striker and an extra creative attacking mifielder. Would have started Marv AND Hatem.
  10. Do feel sorry for him lolloping around looking for what is a white blur coming in his general direction (if he's lucky).

We were playing a team who were just above us in the league and who had form that was as bad as ours, the positives should be seen with that in mind. Yeah forgot about that. Fulham hadn't scored in 5 games and had won 1 in their last 5 home games.

Think we did play quite well tonight. A game we could have won if players weren't having to do silly things so as to shoehorn in two strikers.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Ben Arfa fanboy , before being a Newcastle Fan , huge mistake around here man... Anyway how many times Pardew yailed at Ben Arfa to play more centrally ? It seems he was always trough the middle during the second half , am I the only one who noticed that ? For instance he never maded that much pass since he's in newcastle ( 42 ) in "only" 70 minutes , something for the future...(at Newcastle , Toondra ) sorry, i answered a little bit in my previous post about the fact i was a ben arfa fan before being a Newcastle fan, i certainly wouldn't be the same if i wasn't born in a country who know nothing about football.....ENGLAND THE MOTHER OF NATIONS lol It take years for Pardew to see what he got to change: ben arfa substitute most of last year, santon, jonas starter no matter what, now marveaux.... To win trophies, you need talent, not hard workers, except grace in the 2004 euro, hardwork has never won against talent. respect Totally agree mate. Your eng isn't so bad.

Half the problems stem from him ducking the Ba/Cisse descision. No such hassles at Villa where the hardworking Benteke has cast Bent into the wilderness. Descision made early doors. It's called being a manager.

It might have been Hatem was being protected (the hamstring)....But bringing on Shola instead of Marv who has been playing really well lately...Just ming boggling. First thing Shola did was give a free kick away and the second thing he did was fall over the ball.

    Pardew Out?

Thought we fought hard today and were a little unlucky. For the life of me I couldn't fathom the subs. Went straight for long ball when he hit the panick button instead of bringing Marv on for Hatem.
  17. Marv should have come on for Hatem if anyone. Not 5 min from the end ffs!!!
