Why are we scouting PSG? They have a lot of very poor players and we`ve been linked with more PSG players than other teams`....surely if we`re looking for good quality players we should be looking at teams at least on the top half of the table....not ones that scrape past relegation on the last day. I know we`ve been linked with the likes of Gomis but PSG seem a favourite of ours both in the past and present Cheap flights??

Because when he gets back things are supposed to happen. Simply really, those things would have been happening if he was here. When he gets back, others are also getting back. Wise and Co. are doing all the initial discussions anyway. My understanding is KK will only talk to those who want to go further with us.

Only I am speaking the truth backed up with the fact we've signed no one while he was away. I'd rather we signed people who he's spoken talk to face-to-face first. So would I, and i'd rather he didn't take a holiday and put the club 1st. If he loves it so much he'd not have left, unless the pressure is severe in which case we need to get rid of him and bring in someone mentally stronger. There are a few rumours percolating down through the forest canopy. a)KK won't be happy that the Owen scenario is no closer to being resolved (Owen's camp are not keen on paycut). He also might find a scenario that Wise is no closer to securing the players targeted (by KK) and that on top of that he finds out he hasn't got much to spend. This might lead to some heated exchanges behind the scenes. b)KK comes back all the deals he wanted are nearly done and he's not worried about Owen as we are signing another top tier striker. There is a reasonable transfer budget and KK and Ashley are spotted laughing and joking as they graffiti Owen's helicopter.

I'm not sure if we'd have gone down if he'd stayed but I think the players would have been on such a downer that it was a possibility, Keegan turned it around by getting the players playing again. I'm not sure Allardyce had that in him, I think he'd have tried to shut up shop and we'd have suffered even more for that. Relegation was certainly possible and if he'd stayed we would have been talking about the possibility of going down at least as much as we were. The players didn't like him cause he was a bad communicator (shouting through a bullhorn ffs!) and he shoving things up their arses after training. The continuos and unabated use of small pricks (blood sugar) also proved a bridge too far.
