I think he can be as good as Ribery and Malouda.

There is no defacto scientific proof whether being gay is genetic or learnt behaviour.
-
You obviously didn't because Kuyt was not even on the bench.

You obviously didn't because Kuyt was not even on the bench. Yeah I normally stare at the bench all match. The point is he didn't start him. What is your point? I watched it on telly btw before you start. Come on give us summat to debate instead of a little playground girly waft.....
-
YOu don't have to have watched the game to know that James made his first proper save after 60min and but for the Reina penalty save they would have lost.
-
I understand that to an extent but don't you agree he sets the side up too defensively on too many occassions?

I started on Benny over a year ago mate when they were struggling to finish 4th...With 60m spent he'll be out the door if they don't finish top 2 imo. I started on Benny over a year ago mate when they were struggling to finish 4th...With 60m spent he'll be out the door if they don't finish top 2 imo. Well i wont be surprised, if they shown him the door only at the expense of manager with similar credentials...and there are not many floating around. Well put it this way..who has been the most successful teams out of the top 4 since Benny and Mourihno* join the league? In terms of cup competitions think benny has got to the finals of the biggest cup competition in the world. Debate The League title or the European Cup? I would pick the latter. Look man if you want to debate Liverpools current problems on the pitch not what happened 2 years ago I'm here for you. blueyes.gif In the summer I pinpointed 2 managers who have trouble this year (and people on this forum will back me up) the other one was Jol. I think Jol is a tactical bufoon and Benitwz is too def to be manager of Liverpool fc.
-
The problem he has is that he has spent a whole load of cash and there will have to be a title challenge of sorts this year.
-
This is the wierdest thing about the paunchy goatee wearing Benny....He never seems to change his tune. Why the fuck start with a gameplan of lumping it to Crouch in the first place? Crouch is finished at Anfield he looked despondent was constatntly robbed of the ball and he has 0 pace.
-
Are you saying leaving your best striker on the bench is a good idea?

Did you see the game at all? No Out of the 7 shots on target 5/6 came in the last 15 after Torres, Babel and Gerrard came on. Basically you start with your best side and then tinker later if players are tired once you've given yourself a chance to get a result.

He's grown a goatee as if to hide behind his incessant managerial blunders. He started today with Crouch (who touched the ball twice in 60min) and this Voronin character who's a bit like a fat bus driver with a pony tail. James made one proper save all game. Torres and Kuyt sat there on the bench. He'll be for the chop this summer.

This is what happens if you read the Guardian and wear pringle socks?

Now the victim is guilty for being a victim. How pathetic you are. He was the victim of a harmless bit of banter from team mates, the sort of banter that goes on between groups of males everywhere, if Le Saux didn't make such a big deal about it in the first place then the whole thing wouldn't have been blown out of proportion. People on here take this piss out of Gejon calling him gay, he isn't and handles it as the friendly banter that it's intended, if he was to be a big drama queen about it it would only encourage people to do it more, which is what Le Saux did. If it makes me pathetic for thinking Le Saux being a fairy caused it in the first place then so be it, the bloke isn't even gay for fucks sake. Absolute bollocks. Put in his position, with Robbie Fowler doing that how would you fucking feel. He should have kicked Fowler in the arse as he bent over....
-
Basically he should have asked them politely to stop in the dressing room and if that hadn't worked knocked out the first one to re-start the name calling. The puff thing soon dries up after that.
-
Those cases are significantly different to the three players who scored for England. The Germans are obsessed with winning and soon scoop up anybody from the former Hinterland who shows promise. If people had to be born in the countrz they play for a lot on international sport would be fucked.
-
But you digress. I always saw them as a kind of vanguard of the intellectual elite of football boards.
-
Many of the German senior national team weren't born in Germany.

You think it's safe to assume we'll beat them? We should beat them, obviously, but it's idiotic to just assume that it should be an easy three points. What you reckon the odds will be at the bookies? As the season develops and we continue to improve people will stop worrying about games like this. They'd be foolish to do so. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/3385515.stm I'm not "assuming" we'll beat anyone. There will be plenty of games coming where I will be worried, just saying this is less likely to be a pitfall for us all things considered and no I'm not particlularly worried about Derby. Other way around for me, these are the games I worry about because they're the games we really need to start winning consistently. ohmelads post was basically spot on. Good to know the vibes are good for it though. The first game we're likely to lose and you can start worrying about now is away to Man City. 29th Sept. Point being I'll not consider that a disaster, as it's a game that will be no shame in losing. Not beating Derby though is the type of thing we've done for years so that'd be much more of a concern for me. Beat the bad teams consistently and make ourselves tough to play against for the better teams. That's the first step. I think we'll beat Derby, btw.
