Wasn't a good preformace, we picked up a point and a clean sheet away from home. In a relegation that would be seen as a good point. Fair point but only if your home form was any good. THis is what im saying, if we blow it against Reading then this point will do little to help us. If we can beat Reading and put in a good 90 minutes of attacking football we'll all feel much better. Hopefully another body through the door as well will give everyone a boost. Ill be pissing blood if we go one up against Reading then Pardew decides to try and hold it for 30 minutes...Ill nut the f***ing computer if he does that. You and me both!

They were at home. I thought someone might mention this but the way we played today is the way we've been playing at home all season too. it doesn't matter where we're playing. If, and it's a bloody massive if in my humble opinion, we really go at Reading next weekend and put them to the sword then fair enough but hinging it all on HBA returning is a long shot.

Sunderland have been on the whole pretty shite this season and from what I've heard they didn't play for the "confidence boosting" point today.

Really don't know where to start with what's wrong here. Can't see anyone who expected Barcelona-like football, or a 4-0 win, for a start. We were also playing Norwich, not Real Madrid. Aye, straw man there. The intention to win a game against a team who are weaker than us is not ridiculous expectation. Not on board with the idea of babysteps either - this isn't pre-season. We're in the middle of the season, and this was a winnable fixture against a side begging us to score goals against them. We barely even tried - apart from trying to hit Cisse from every possible spot on the pitch except from anywhere within a 20 metre radius of the man. Those who were extolling the attacking progress made in the Arsenal and Man Utd games seem to have lost their voices also. Now we're not facing a team who is cocksure they can outscore us, where did all the (fake) progress go? Pardew doesn't know how to coach a team to simultaneously a) be defensively solid b) score without an over-reliance on individual brilliance/defensive mistakes. He could have 11 fully-fit first teams, and he still couldn't do it. I'm sure HBA/Cabaye/Cisse would save his bacon mind you, but I don't want to gamble Newcastle's Premier League status on the hope (and that's all it is - a hope) that we have enough of our "star" players fit and sparking in our shrinking set of fixtures. It could not materialise for all we know. I'd rather have a plan. We've had the playing personne available to use to be in an uninspiring but safe 12th/13th/14th this season IMO. Now that's a post that deserves at least two

Again I've got to pick up on the point that we need HBA back to create goals or goal scoring opportunities? I'm not saying him returning to the team won't but how the f*** can a team playing in the EPL not have a shot on goal or create even one chance for their striker? We did have a shot on goal, Obertan had a decent shot saved in the first half. I stand corrected then. 93 mins of play and 1 shot on goal.

We have no idea how to utilise Cisse - he was totally isolated Who's there to support him? We simply don't have the players we need. Maybe not the players we need but we've definately got some that could support Cisse. It's not rocket science but seems to be beyond Pardew's grasp.

Awful match to watch. Fucking hate Pardew for making me feel like a point here 'isn't too bad'. Once again absolutely no fucking semblance of tactics being utilized.
