Despite how shite we've been this season and a week of residual anger from the west ham performance I've still woken up excited (wor lass can confirm!) at the prospect of the match today.....and that's how it should be, well to me anyway. I'm going to hold on that feeling until team news is confirmed and pards has bottled it once again.

But surely some of this rests with the player himself? He's up top with a player from the same country/speaks the same language, could they not communicate and agree "you go front post and I'll go back post" sort of thing? Instead we get them occupying the same space and making the same runs time and again.

Right now I'd take Nolan over Cabaye but think 99% of that is down to how our no.4 is being asked to play.
