  1. So there is a 'bid' of some sorts then. I thought BZG said that terms had been agreed, statement signed by both sides and was away to the PL? Now we're back to it just being "there's a bid"?
  2. If tens of thousands of fans are renewing to save their loyalty points, then it's not a "small" sacrifice, is it? NUST are responding to a concern many fans have expressed - there's no need to do anything but applaud, really. Oh indeed, NUST should be applauded for listening and then acting but it's these "thousands of fans" I've got the issue with. We want Ashley out, we can't force him out in the complete sense but we have the power to make a loud and clear message, something which on past evidence has caused him to maybe not shit himself, but give him hemmoroids and we won't do it for FOMO. That's the bit I'm struggling with in my head.
  3. Is not being able to watch the club you love IF happier times do come along a SMALL sacrifice? And I agree, unless we act there's unlikely to be any happier times but this is where the catch 22 situation comes in. If you (and I don't mean you personally) but I would say it is a small sacrifice IF it can help bring about change that in turn MAY lead to happier times. The greatest weapon of the fascist is the tolerance of the pacifist.
  4. Is this what it's come to..... 'negotiating' to get fans who apparently love the club to make a small sacrifice for what's best for the club they apparently love?
  5. Edit - bit the bullet.... WTF Kev?!!!! That's him on my shitlist! "Rafa knew what he was walking in to when he joined...." Just FUCK OFF you judas cunt!!!
  6. I'm feared to click on it to listen now.
  7. The Chronicle is appalling now. manorpark[/member] is a key forumer in SSC. A few years ago he had to get in touch with the Chronicle because they were stealing our info and stealing work without credit. In order to avoid taking things legal they agreed to do an article on SSC. Since then the stealing of our info has reduced, at one time though it was literally front page news articles that they were taking. That's fucking rank. Know the internet/social media has changed landscape forever for journalists but FFS. Do an actual bit of journalism not just tell me palace's ex owner was on the radio giving his opinion of our situation.
  8. The Chronicle's so called 'reporting' in this has been pure lifting since the news broke. Dunno if it's just professional jealously or ineptitude.
  9. Had another let down this morning, walking in to reception at work and sky news is on and the yellow ticker at the bottom of the screen was scrolling, all I saw on first look was 'football club.....announced.....new'..... my heart did a jump then crushingly saw it was about lampard.
  10. I'm still tempted to go just so I can shout abuse for 90mins.
  11. Hopefully this is just paper filling their pages with made up shite. If it's true then takeover isn't happening.
  12. Aye...mind if we do try spend some if it we'll have to take agent fees and wages out of the 30 million.
  13. Hopefully he wont be so kind on the powers that be with his comments should this go through.
  14. My completely bonkers theory is that he has the new owners 'permission' on who can go. Haha!! I know, I know!! More likely what you say, if new owners were close to coming I just can't see them being okay with the club losing it's major assets unless they are so bullish they think they can rebuild team in a month.
  15. In where ? At the training ground I'd assume? Surely this. Players return. Will be lots of reporters etc. possibly some pissed off fans with a bedsheet.
  16. Cheers for clearing up. I'll not get the beer out the fridge just yet.
  17. Where you getting that from? I thought yesterday there was two claims that statements were 'imminent', one from the radio guy based in middle east and the other was Shields Gazette late last night. Have both not been shown to be mistaken or is it me?
  18. So hee-haw statements (that we know of) are being released this week?
  19. in all seriousness he's probably raging that we apparently spent money on painting some walls in the past 3 years. wants to see for himself.
  20. He's away to take the 'manager' sign off Rafa's old office door. Probably doing a stationary count to make sure none of Rafa's lot took any with them There's a pack of post-it's and a SD pen missing!! Contact Beijing to start extradition process!
  21. He's away to take the 'manager' sign off Rafa's old office door.
  22. Is that not just someone making up what they think the statement will be?
  23. Not if they want their own man. I just cant see this being the case myself like Unless they promised Mourinho the job or something. I know i kmow Funny, I've been thinking about this this evening.... making some big leaps in my logic but here goes...…. it's well known that Jose has 1) affection for this club 2) is looking for a 'project' 3) is highly thought of in the middle east (maybe more so than Rafa is?) pure guesswork on my part 4) is linked to the job in some way If I was Jose I would have had my representatives contact BZG a few weeks ago about the possibility of working with them should they take over (kind of like it was Rafa who got in touch with us, we didn't go looking for him) Managers at that level know what they want and go for it. Rafa was perfect for us but I can see Jose doing well here (provided not under the fat cunt obviously). Would rather have Mikel Arteta, Roberto Martinez or Eddie Howe instead of Jose Mourinho though! Agree that all 3 would be good options but, and maybe I'm doing BZG a disservice but don't think they'd be looking at/considering any of them. Think they'd go for a Jose as big headline grabbing statement of intent.
