Very good read indeed

Taylor has been immense for us since returning from his latest injury, he definitely should have been called up.
-
And as we all know, pass completion rates "tells the whole story"

Fulham have proved to be a bit of a bogey team for us over the years and have been getting the odd good result here and there, just beat Spuds at their place, this weekend. We play the mackems right after a trip to Benfica, it will be a tough game and they'll obviously be up for it. I'm not as convinced about that. Aye we just won 6 out of our last 10 in all comps with only 2 defeats before yesterday but now we are incapable of getting a couple of wins before the end of the season Amazing what one defeat does to people, i hope the players are not as negative as some of you lot. Especially when you consider the nature of the defeat as well. People on here are making out as if we were absolutely abysmal yesterday, which is simply not the case. Everything went against us yesterday though, absolutely fucking everything, and it won't be like that on a consistent basis the rest of the season. We're going to pick up about around ten points (which is about or average points per game this season) and finish around where we are now in the table.
-
Even if Halsey didn't see that tackle (which he fucking should have), what is his excuse for not booking the little cunt seconds later when there's a deliberate hand ball?
-
His finishing was shite yesterday, but I thought he played well apart from that. Not just the assist, his link up play was good all afternoon.
-
Nope, and I'm still not. I won't resort to pathetic digs with playground insults either. No need to be so sensitive precious. Sorry to point it out but being on a 1 at this stage of the season is simply ignoring the reality around you. If I recall correctly one of the main reasons you were sure we would stay up was the influx of players and return of Cabaye & HBA. Those reasons are now looking shaky as fuck, as is our form Our form isn't shaky as fuck Definitely a 1, we're fine.

While it's not common someone has to retire, they might change the career of a player completely. Eduardo and Ramsey are two recent examples of players not being anywhere near as good as they were before their leg breaks. Our very own Ben Arfa is arguably another case, would he have had these hamstring injuries if it wasn't for the leg break? No one knows for certain, but as he hasn't had any history of being injured before, it's possible that he wouldn't.

Yet sunderland are four points away and they're supposedly in big trouble? Either way it's going to be an utterly grim end to the season. Our form is so much better than theirs, and I don't think they are in that big trouble anyway. Our end of the season will depend heavily on how long Debuchy and especially Cabaye are out.
-
We've not once been in the bottom three, and we're 6 points clear of the relegation zone. I don't consider that being close.
-
We won't be anywhere near relegation.

Did he? The view they showed on MOTD2 was with a zoom lens which foreshortened the distance. In practice, the lino would have been standing in the other half of the field, more than 30 yards away. What's more, at the point of contact Haidara was between McManaman and the linesman and it would have been difficult to see with the right degree of confidence where the contact was made. We're all angry about a tackle which has put a young lad's career in jeopardy, but we have to be realistic about what we can expect from officials. They can't give what they don't see. People saying that Halsey could have sussed out what happened by what was going on before and after his view was blocked are in cloud-cuckoo land. No-body can say how long his view was blocked for, and in any case he can't send a player off based on supposition. That's basic. It's his fucking job to make sure he is in a position to see it. It was clear for seconds that there was going to be a tackle coming in there, he has to fucking see it. Hope his lies that he doesn't see it is just to make sure the little scouse twat gets a ban.
-
does like. Not to me, you don't go in like that no matter what your intent is. The end result is the same, Haidara has still suffered a career threatening injury.
-
I don't give two shits whether there was any intent or not in that tackle, it doesn't matter one fucking bit.
-
Definitely. He's just mouthing off at the little scouse cunt (who deserved every word of abuse and then some), then some Wigan tossers comes in and start pushing and shoving.
-
We missed Cabaye so, so much today.
-
Just put the game on, holy shit
-
If Halsey doesn't see it, he should be sacked for not putting himself in a position to see it. If he does see it, he should be sacked for thinking it's an acceptable challenge. Bottom line, Halsey shouldn't keep his job.
-
Fucking horrible comments in here. We would have won had we not been screwed over by the ref and had some fucking luck with injuries.
-
I wouldn't go that far. Villa will stay up anyways. I'm worried about US and our awful away form. We're back in the relegation mix I'll bet you anything that we won't even be near relegation.
-
Fucking hell man, how is that not a red man?
-
No Cabaye and no Campbell on the bench
