For fucks sake Pardew, against this Chelsea team you need pace in your defence. I could see the point in starting Taylor against Benteke, but against Ba/Torres he would be bloody useless. MYM has to start.

I'd agree, but if we sit back hoof it second half again they will murder us. Definitely. In fact when was the last time we really pushed on in the 2nd half in a prem game at St James? Man City? QPR? Good shouts on both but I was thinking more in terms of when we've been leading. Why the hell would you want to play decent football when you're winning a game?

For all his "defensive work rate", he is so bloody clumsy when tackling that he's always liable to give away a free kick, which IMO negates the point in having him on the pitch, despite his work rate.

Not yet. Was tweeted to OfficialNUFC though so expect it to be in the club shop soon. Tis true! http://www.toffs.com/Newcastle_France-Le-Toon-Retro-Football-Shirt/productinfo/1536/?utm_source=Communicator&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=Untitled13&utm_campaign=Le+Toon+shirts+now+available! It's horribly fantastic Couldn't have put it any better -
I'm over the moon with the window tbh. Of course it would have been nice with some extra cover up front, but realistically that was never going to happen, and I think we've got decent cover there anyway as Gouffran has played the last season and a half as a central striker should Cissé get injured. I do fear though that Pardew might think that he is suited to that and opt for Shola should the worst happen. Extremely excited about Moussa and Mapou, Moussa because of his reputation and indeed looking like he'll live up to it against Villa, and Mapou much because of who he's replacing, even though Taylor is back. Getting an upgrade on Simpson and cover for the full back positions is brilliant as well, really feel comfortable across the back four now, can't remember that before as a NUFC fan. All in all, a very strong 9/10, very good job by all involved

If I was one of his drinking buddies, I'd want to keep going out and getting him fucked up, every day, and night, on his wallet. This. Keep him on the piss as much as fucking possible.

I'm not worried at all. In fact, I'm so not worried that I dare to tempt fate by saying I'm not worried.

Real Madrid, Everton, Man U. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Watched the highlights, the only two mackem chances were two free kicks from Gardner: the first one must have been at least 20 yards over, the second about a yard outside the post. Graham really should have won it for Swansea at the end like, would have been canny funny if he did.

This picture tells you all you need to know, no one in the history of being tripped falls with their arms flying like that; only divers throw their arms up in the air. Still shouldn't even have given Agbonlahor the chance to dive like.
-
Cheating cunt should have been booked for a clear dive yesterday.
-
Both Wigan's goals yesterday were class, especially the first one. Brilliant one-two and a lush finish.
-
I.E. Not all fouls in the box are penalties. How were you nearly right? You originally started banging on about "facing away from goal" and "goalscoring opportunities". Absolute nonsense.

Bringing him on when we are chasing a game is completely different to bringing him on when we are winning so we've got someone to hoof it to when we are in panic mode.
