He was/is a very talented player, and he showed it here as well. He just couldn't do it often enough, for various reasons.

Cheers. I didn't think you were that bad, though. In the sense of it being more lack of confidence than lack of ability holding you back. Still just cautiously optimistic about the return leg, but to quote Nils Arne Eggen (manager) when a reporter asked "Are you optimistic for the second leg?" "We won 1-0 here, so to say I don't think we can win at home is just stupid. I have nothing more to say about that." Mate, you are going to fucking destroy us at your place.

He was class against us today. Mind, it can't be hard being a DM against the dross he was up against.

Congratulations Kaizero, there's no way we're coming back from this. You were better on all positions, Annan and Iversen bossed the midfield.
-
Which will probably be you

Christ, even if we may have a "youth" signing policy, that doesn't mean that every now and then, if the right player is available, that we won't pick someone up who's over 30.

I'll bite, who is claiming Carroll is a legend?

Colo for me, but it's too early to say as we don't know whether that partnership would work or not.

Actually starting to get my hopes up now. Which will make it worse when he signs for a German club.

Good post.

Is Ireland going to stay at City? He's way too good to be fifth choice at any club.

Kalmar will give Djurgården a good old spanking today for anyone who wants some easy money.
-
Isn't that what Martins tried to do?
-
As did Kevin Nolan against Preston. Neither will do fuck all next season. Nolan, if he starts the majority of our games, will get around five goals, while contributing with next to nothing as a midfielder next season.

Come on man, suspend reality a bit, you've got to enjoy these rumours whether they're bollocks or not. Oh I'm enjoying it, don't you worry

I cannot believe that we are still being linked with Ben Arfa

My guess is that some mod has been on his phone again.

Must be on about Rosenborg now, as I don't think we've ever played Real Madrid? Do you remember the games against AIK? We played you in the cup-winners-cup in '97 I think, and then again in the Champions League in '99. Only got vague memories of us playing against eachother in the cup winners cup, but our home tie in the Champions League, I'll never forget. We were 1-0 up after a beautiful chipped goal and then you equalised on a corner, when we were half way into making a substitution and none of our players were ready for the ball to be played. Even though you went on to win the game 2-1, it's one of my biggest moments in football that game. Why was I posting about Rosenborg with that big ass AIK shield below your signature I do remember that 1-2. Remember celebrating that cuntish goal indeed, you got a man sent off and went into disarray, which pretty much handed us that injury time winner. I will point out that the Camp Nou tie finished 5-0 to us, though! Was such a horrible way to lose. We were so close to actually winning against the mighty Barcelona and then that shit happens. We obviously had no chance of going through from the group stages, but just a win would have been fantastic.

Wouldn't trust him myself... Trust him more than a football fan who doesn't drink tbh.

I was a little surprised when I read that comment from O'Neill. Milner appears to be somewhat of a t*** tbh, he's only been there two seasons. Great business for Villa though, they double their money in 24 months. Eh? EDIT: You sly bastard, edited it making me look like the daft one

We have six (Barton, Gosling, Guthrie, Nolan, Smith, Vuckic). If we sell Smith we should be looking to get someone in on loan until Gosling is fit, we shouldn't spend any more money on a position where we've got so many players when we still haven't got a back up left back or any back up wingers.
