Agree with that, though possibly with Guthrie on the wing and Barton in the middle. Before the start of the season, I would've had Carroll in for Shola, but Shola's done enough for now to keep his place. EDIT: Pilko, how come you'd put Jonas in the hole? Surely, if we're playing 4-3-3, he'd be the last of our midfielders who'd be suited for that role? Both Barton and Guthrie could play there, as they both can shoot and pick a pass, so they'd be dangerous. Smith could probably do a job there "defending from the front" as well as being somewhat of a target man, and Nolan would do the job he's done so far this season. I don't see how play Jonas in an advanced position would do him any good, unless you plan on him doing Maradona goals all the time with him running past both their defenders and their keeper.

Since he was about 6 or something. That's his proper position but Moyes is playing him as a defensive midfielder just for the time being while he gets experience. I never would have guessed that he was a CB from what I've seen of him, definitely looks like a DM to me. Not a bad fifth choice to have, I suppose, should injuries start hitting you in that area.
