  1. Unfair imo. He's a very good manager.
  2. Pardew plan: I want you to defend for 45 minutes then Hatem and Sylvain will come on and I want you to start playing free flowing attacking football. Ok?
  3. Both are on the bench man. Oh right didn't realise Marveaux was Both must be struggling.
  4. Surely Marveaux isn't in the squad simply because he's injured. Perch is less understandable, though he has also been injured.
  5. Not nervous at all. I don't expect anything. Then again if we go 1 up the nerves will kick in.
  6. It's going to be like tonight. Camera constantly focusing on Hatem as the game wears on. 1-0 up with 30 minutes to go... Hatem goes to warm up and the crowd cheer...he takes off his top and the crowd roar...off comes Gutierrez and Hatem sprints on to the pitch... Falls down clutching his hamstring and is stretchered off for Gabriel Obertan. We go on to draw 1-1.
  7. Does not compute. The only reason I could see anyone not wanting Dortmund to win (not just today either, tbh, but the whole thing) is because I could see how it could be tiring the wankathon that surrounds them. I think they are absolutely brilliant and want them to absolutely smash Malaga, and I've got nowt against Malaga. Just makes it more interesting seeing the underdog win.
  8. Looking forward to this, hope Malaga win.

    Alan Pardew

West brom away was the most enjoyable game I watched last season, we looked absolute class.
  10. Mourinho and laudrup? What fucking planet are you on Martinez is probably a realistic target.

    Alan Pardew

Lets be honest, any manager that comes in would get criticised. However pardew makes it literally impossible to back him because he does so many things wrong.

Not even looking forward to games now knowing this clown is in charge.

If you take in to account who steps in, Saha or Wickham, then its not stupid at all. With the Ba case it was different as we had Cisse on the wing and he's a capable striker played in the right position, Barca and Messi (ridiculous counter argument) well they have several amazing players to step in. Fletcher has been really important to them. This injury at the start of the season would no doubt see them in real trouble. I'm not saying you can't say 'If he hadn't scored those goals they'd be in a much worse position' but to say lets take those goals away and calculate the exact points they'd be on is completely ridiculous.

Just saw some statement saying without Fletcher's goals Sunderland would be 20th. It really pisses me off when people say stuff like that 'If he hadn't scored those goals they'd be 12 points worse off and be..' Yeah, cause football works like that. You don't consider the fact if he wasn't playing someone else might. Stupid theory.
  15. Wasn't that the year Ronaldinho was world player of the year?
  16. Actually looking forward to an England game for the first time since the Euros.
  17. Think he will.I looked at the squad and him and Smalling are the only recognised CBs.
