Where's Cabaye? WHERE IS YOHAN CABAYE!!!!
-
Who's he supposed to be after/interested in? I can think of only Sinclair atm. Javi Garcia, Nastasic (?), Sinclair, Maicon and...? Remy?
-
Is Llambias there?
-
He can sign after today for a club can't he? Probably wants to be registered for a Premier League squad on Monday. In my opinion, the least interesting transfer saga of today. "What mid-table club will name Michael Owen on their bench in the few games he doesn't miss because of injury? Stay tuned for more."

Fuck, good squad player that occasionally can get us out of trouble. Gutted. Hope Ferguson and Tavernier are up for it now.

Tioté's contract runs until 2017. No rush to cash in. He's 26 btw.

It's fine for now, but a poor season and it'll have backfired on us. Aye, but like Ian W said above; there are probably very few other managers around that would work with Ashley under these conditions. You could question Pardew's pride and morale, but as things stand, this way of running our club seems as if it's working to a suprisingly great extent. I'm happy with it for now. I just hope it doesn't turn ugly when Ashley decides it's time to cash in for sure. We've gone three windows without selling any player who hasn't expressed a will to leave. Should be about time within the next year.

It's so clear from those comments how little say Pardew has in terms of transfers and how unbelievably grateful he is to Ashley for giving him the job. I think the lack of balance in their relationship might not be a good thing for the club. Pardew has done incredibly well, but Ashley will always point to the fact that he is on top of things as he granted Pardew his way back into the Premiership. Of course we need players, but Pardew has no "right" to demand such things. It's all on Ashley's terms.

The Maicon signing is a massive kick in the nuts for Richards.

Not as good as Ba, Cisse, or Ben Arfa... therefore it would never happen. But a s*** load better than Obertan, Campbell and both Ameobis so it should happen Better than Campbell

f***ing please!! :frantic: Shame that it seems that AIK won't be at our brand new ground for the EL like was originally planned, because it's booked up at the dates. So it'll be Råsunda?

Seydoux has said Lille haven't had any contact with Real Madrid over Debuchy. Also says he "really wants to play Champions League with Lille".

It's nice though, we have three 1st team players in Tioté Anita Cabaye ..with similar players as young backup in Bigi Abeid Vuckic And then Gosling who's terrible. And Vuckic is perhaps not that similar to Cabaye. But that is a nice midfield trio to play in less meaningful games. -

I want us to go to Napoli or Inter, then Copenhagen and AIK. I'd probably be at four out of six group games if that happens. Made a deal with a mate of mine who supports Inter to go to Milan and Newcastle if we draw each other.

He's going to be an asset this season, that's for sure. Great to have tricky players like him and Amalfitano when we need to open games up and it isn't working for Hatem. Smooth passer, excellent at jinking his way past people and good awareness. Needs more games in order to get up to speed and gain sharpness it seems, but well above your average Premier League winger in terms of ability.

Colin Young @cyoungdailymail Pardew `You've to pay respect to Mike. We had a couple of phonecalls & could've cashed in but he didn't. I thank him & our fans should too' Edit: Giggsed Dave's too quick.

Fucking amazing achievement by AIK, losing 0-1 at home and then winning 2-0 in Moscow. The scenes when they scored the 2nd in injury were unreal.
