You do a separate list of kids which is: Aarons, Abeid, Aird, Alnwick, Sa.Ameobi, Bigirimana, Booth, Campbell, Desmond, Dummett, Ferguson, Gillesphey, Gilliead, Good, Grant, Heardman, Hooper, Inman, Kitchen, Knight, Logan, Lopez, Maddison, McKinnon, Miele, Mitchell, Morgan, Moyo, Newton, Nicholson, Olley, Quinn, Ranger, Richardson, Riley, Santon, Satka, Smith, Streete, Tavernier, Turton, Vuckic. according to .com anyway He's managed to submit a false birth certificate and come through the academy again. 15 more years.
  2. Hope he breaks his legs in first game tbh When sitting still on the subs bench. I hope his body just falls apart.
  3. Not necessarily for January, but I think Royston Drenthe could be a very decent addition, free agent at the moment. Complex character and very troubled person in terms of his psychological health, but I reckon he could thrive in our sort of welcoming and tight environment. Pardew could probably get him to settle. Doubt we are looking at him after the off-field reasons that made him leave Everton. Could do a job at both LB and LW.

Really illustrates how important the management is. Sir Bobby got 4th and 3rd. His back four often consisted of Hughes-O'Brien-Dabizas-Bernard. During 01/02, he was able to bring in Griffin and/or Caldwell at the very best.

Who else's career have we systematically destroyed? You could argue that things didn't go well for Rozehnal, Boumsong, Luque, Martins or Emre after they joined us. For example. Still think it has more to do with the players' abilities than the club. However, under the Souness, Allardyce and Roeder management eras, players who joined stopped playing and turned shit instantly.
  6. Why's Woodman not in goal, you daftie Is that a serious question? He has far too little experience.
  7. Streete should be due back soon? Trained a lot with the first team last season. Was looking forward to seeing him this season. Hope he continues his progression, Pardew seemed well impressed.
  8. Alnwick Tavernier Good Satka Dummett Richardson Inman Aarons Newton Moyo Campbell Recall Dummett, drop everyone.
  9. Might be turning into the player he should be. The environment he's allowed to develop and play in probably suits him, and considering the fact that he seems to have calmed down/grown up in terms of staying out of trouble/knuckle down, it's really no suprise with his unquestionable ability. All the pieces are there for him to torment any defence in the world, especially now as he seems physically fit enough as well. Could well be having a stormer of a season.
  10. Yeap even Andy O'Brien would pop up with a few, even Aaron Hughes on occasions. Not really. 1860 away and scored from a Viana pass at home to Southampton. Neither were corners. Think he might have got one against Norwich just before SBR was sacked?
  11. When will Bruges tickets go on sale? Is it only turnstiles? Desperate to go there.
  12. Has a lot to do with Pardew trying to please our strikers by playing 4-4-2. I can actually see us going on a deep run if we switch to 4-3-3. Actually I believe we have the capability to fight out for a top 4 spot if no one gets injured and we do play with a midfield three and Ba - Cisse - Benny uptop like last season. Has Pardew already forgotten WBA away? We were f***ing amazing then. Ba can still play left. He wont score and he wont like it, but just like at Swansea he and Cisse can swith it up a bit to help out defensively. It is obviously not the optimal, but we wont sell Ba and we wont get a new winger anyways so that the best we have. I also think Marveaux and Amalfitano would thrive in such a formation. Problem this season is definitely 4-4-2 and no Tiote in the team. I mean Cabaye and Anita reminds me of when Guthrie and Barton played couple seasons back in the midfield. One overrunning the other and no one covering each other. Not only there. Stoke at SJP was a fucking brilliant performance, Liverpool at home was more than decent as well. It's there for everyone to see. Not only the front trio, but the midfield - whether it contains Cabaye, Tioté, Jonas, Anita or Bigi - will be far more dynamic and controlling if we just allow them to be more than two people in there. Hopefully it will come. Pardew's comments about Shola for Everton suggests he might be willing to introduce some more muscle up front in order to win the physical battle that our long-ball 4-4-2 game requires.
  13. Cabaye's corners have been shit since he signed. Also, however bad you are at set pieces, scoring ONE headed goal over the course of 12 months is just unbelievable.
  14. Almost smashed my table to pieces in the bar I was watching the game. Shocking quality. Cissé had another situation where he should have slipped it in for Ben Arfa but went wide and produced a horrific cross instead.
  15. Link? Kalle Karlssons blogg efter Chelsea
  16. Labelled best winger in the league by a very good Swedish journalist. He has a soft sport for Newcastle, but it's nice to see him getting praise like that. Marching towards the favourite player ever title.
  17. Axel Witsel joining Zenit for €40m
  18. Why is everyone leaving Jonas out? Still ahead of Bigi ffs
  19. Team of the season. This is his year, just hope it's ours to some extent as well.
  20. I think Ba has shown more than Papiss tbh. I'd play Marv-Cab-HBA behind Ba for Everton, with Cheick and Jonad sittning behind. Anita can stay at RB.
