  1. Who does he normally comment on? Us or just everyone? Don't know but he's usually quick with regards to us. Dave's probably right though.
  2. Graeme Bailey @SkyGraemeBailey Close Hearing some very strange, and if true big news...

JH: Fully agree about what Pardew did to the players confidence pre-Spurs. It seemed as if nobody believed we could have a go at them, and it showed on the pitch. I think that is also evident in the post-match comments by some of the players, apologetic and full of praise for Spurs rather than pointing to our own failings.
  4. Limited. Probably good enough for Scotland though. Goalscoring winger without much ability from what I've seen.
  5. Was always going to happen. He looked close to tears before hand.
  6. Oh shit. This is just getting worse. Gervinho hasn't struck one yet. Guess he's too nervous.
  7. These penalties, hope the FA and who ever replaces Capello is watching.
  8. Cheik, what a boss. If he isn't injured on his plane back he'll be fine now!
  9. Good news, I hope Pardew is managing him better behind the scenes than it sometime seems from random quotes. Very good news. As long as he's patient, we know he has the talent to become a regular and very important player for us. Pardew has to realise there is a role for him. Hopefully this will happen with Cabaye and Tioté back. Wolves will be interesting. Him in a free role and a decent full back behind him could be brilliant.
  10. I think Dalglish and Suarez are both pretty miserable now. They've made no friends in football and will find it hard to make up for it. Suarez will endure a horrible time in England and should probably leave for his own sake. Dalglish has cornered himself in a way that will make things difficult for him on many levels.
  11. Also, if Pardew is talking about Ben Arfa "not grasping the Premiership". This turd has had 20 games to show that he's done just that, providing evidence that he's incapable of doing just that. Driving me mad that he can't just give Hatem a chance.
  12. Pardew has to swallow his pride here. He is forming one of the weakest right wings in the league with Simpson.
  13. Shot ourselves in the foot with the tactics from the off, was always going to be disaster allowing them space. Should have kept on doing what we have been doing all season, tried to defend deeper and counter attack. Going there and taking the game to them - without Cabaye and Tioté - was one of the most stupid game plans I've seen from a manager. Spurs are a very good side, but we're not as bad as the first half indicated today. Reaction vs Wolves please.

We're allowing one of the worlds best counter attacking teams a lot of space. It was always going to back fire. Why? And why announce that tactic a week before?
  15. Fulham look like they've turned a corner. Some good players there.
  16. Are the later stages of this ever televised?
  17. Won it. In the last 8 now. Well in lads.
