Caulkin tweeted that he's out yesterday. Judging from Pardew's comments on Taylor and him - Tioté sounds very unlikely to play. Guthrie might have played well at Blackburn, but it's Cheik's steel we'll miss. Unless Guthrie comes up with a Brian Kerr/Jamie McClen/Claerence Acuna from the old days and plays a blinder just for the sake of it.

What's the verdict on Tioté? Haven't seen anything concrete..

For some reason, I still hold some hope for him. I know not many are with me on this, but I really liked his style of play and the impact he had when he came on last season. If he matures and starts getting goals, we have another option and a pretty complete forward on our hands.

Fixture list explanation is shit tbh. We've showed superb consistency and played well against Spurs and Arsenal. Outplayed Villa away and taken big wins at Sunderland and Wolves. Yet - not been tested? Doesn't add up for me. If being tested is only playing Chelsea, Man City and Man United then you get tested six times every season.

Changed the game as much as anyone today. Neat passing and a general understanding that Obertan doesn't seem to possess. I want him to start for us, looks like he can offer loads.
