How do we know Santon is starting?
-
If Smith plays I'm out.

In amongst those decent games there's also been some poor displays, though without any major mistakes. How he keeps on picking Raylor is baffling. I'd say Man City was a pretty major mistake. Read again, mate. In amongst those supposed "decent" games, there's a couple in which he was pretty poor, but without the major/significant mistake(s). My bad. Was at fault vs Blackburn, SWP had his way and dependent on Jonas tracking back way too much anyway. Let's just try Santon eh?

It's barely football anymore when you read these things, something else.

How loyal can you stay to player? We're approach half of the season. Ryan Taylor was decent for about ten games. He's basically been raped in 4-5 (last three, QPR springs to mind). Not good enough.

An option according to Pardew. Good that he is considered. I want to see more of him, preferably ahead of Perch, but he's a confirmed starter tomorrow.
-
Seems like a likeable group of players. The message to Toland was great to see.
-
Aye, would show ambition as well, not just settling for bad luck and loyalty towards the current players. I'd love it if we brought him in.
-
I reckon Abeid will play now. Gutting this though, for Guthrie as well, he's been on top form lately.
-
Barnsley fans seem to think he's doing pretty well. Started last night.
-
Is it only me or was he really impressive at times in the Championship? Sheffiled United and Doncaster away springs to mind.

McLeish is an absolute disgrace like, I've watched your last 3 games and been appalled every time. It's stupid. You have some players capable of playing as well (N'Zog, Albrighton, Bannan, Agbon). I feel sorry for you brummie because it's been facepalm stuff whenever I've watched. Still don't understand why Lerner signed him in the first place. The appalling football Birmingham played was there for all to see, and it's not like it did that much good for them. In addition, it's not like Villa have s*** players whose only hope is to play stoneage stuff, it's completely counter-productive. Sad to see and I feel for Villa. McLeish has the exact same start to the season this year as he had at Birmingham in terms of results. I would seriously worry. It's all going wrong, Lerner needs to act before January but his decision making after O'Neill has been woeful.

Well and truly fucked if that's true.
-
His tackle on Sturridge was as brain dead as the one he performed on Elmander last season. If he can't defend, play football or keep his head cool - just play fucking Santon.
-
If we can just get Cheik back, it'll relieve some of the pressure. Probably two or three games away from fielding Coloccini/Williamson which would calm my nerves and give Krul a clean sheet or two - if we're lucky. Incredibly unlucky to have our three best CBs injured, I'm sure Timmy understands the situation and don't whine about it.
-
Was one of our best players, brilliant performance. Unlucky not to score with one of his chances. Super signing.
-
But, what about Sunderland?!? Think it'll be Ancelotti - his greatest task awaits.
-
Entertaining game. Wolves always have some spirit but lack the quality. Sunderland lack both. They rely on individual performances and just walk around hoping for things to happen. Sessegnon has some of the individual skills they need, Seb Larsson too, but they both look confused and out of context. Serious relegation contenders eventhough I fancy O'Neill to shape things up and get more out of O'Shea and Brown.

Bendtner is unbelievably shit. My word...
-
Good strike but what the F was Hennessey doing?

M'Biwa should become a more urgent option now. I know a lot of the NE journos said he wasn't a priority in January, but with Taylor out, buying a young defender that can play RB and CB to fill in for him will solve our full back situation in the long term and our CB situation for now. Nobrainer for me. Get him in.
