I want team news, hoping for changes today.

He was unplayable by the time we sold him. He scored and was a threat against anyone. Somehow that has disappeard by now, which makes Liverpool look ridiculous. If he can reach that level he'll be worth every penny. I'd have him back in a flash as he offers so much when up to pace etc.

Seems to be a good person and to really like it at Newcastle. Would keep him as a squad player, but depsite his improvement last season I think we could do a lot better. One issue though will be another English player out of the starting line up, important to keep some sort of English core in the team. Soon enough Taylor, Gosling and Best will be the only ones close to first team action.

I'll be dropping out of University and just spend my days thinking about the potential of that team if he joins as well.

It has been the case with Jonas at times and it certainly is now with Cabaye. Opposition teams target them because they know what threat they pose when given space. Cabaye yesterday and in the first half vs Blackburn was marked out of the game. Playing all three of them will make that sort of tactical approach impossible. Should be good to watch for us.

Yup. Seems to have really found his form now. Everything about him impresses me. I know it's early days, but I think I'd rather have him than Carroll, simply because his movement's better and he's got more pace about him. Also, he scores goals. Five times as many as Carroll.

Deserves lots of credit today again. He really seems to up his game when there's actual competition. Was helping out as usual in defence, but some of his runs were brilliant, and he did incredibly well for Ba's goal. His place in the starting line-up is unquestionable right now.

Tackled the shit out of them, kept things going in terms of passing and helped EVERYONE out. Important thing is that he's decent on the ball and a good passer in these games where Cabaye goes missing, or gets marked out or whatever happend today.

Not really, very logical and understandable responses at the time. Irrational and uninformed responses imo. You are aware of using that kind of hindsight is proper dickish? It was emotional because CH had not long seen us see off the Scum 5-1 and was very much liked. Completely ignorant and naive to not expect outrage at someone (who was loved) being booted out.
