Superb signing quality wise. Hope to god he's not guilty of rape.
  2. I don't believe a word of what he's saying. He's a serial liar with no intention of communicating facts, just putting himself in the centre of attention. The fact that he says "I've put in bids" speaks volumes. It's not his money, not his targets and I would think Charnley handles most of the negotiating. I wouldn't trust Kinnear with a bag of sand. Remember when he was here last time and spoke of his £5m bids for Albin Ebondo and Stephane M'Bia publicly. It's all complete bullshit.
  3. Aye but I wouldn't label anything that's potentially better than our recent mess "awesome". There's no dynamic in that front three. Neither Gomis nor Cisse are able to do a job out wide. Both are central strikers who thrive off good service. I'd rather have Gouffran than Gomis out wide.
  4. Gomis at RW Actually might happen, but by god it does not "look awesome". If we, miraculously get him and Remy, it'll two up top, hoof and fucking garbage.
  5. We're awful at this. So much for learning from mistakes.
  6. Bent linking our play? It's on par with having Williamson taking corners.

    Papiss Cissé

It really is. Him moving to Russia however. He'll have another encounter with morale if he digs into what money is paying his wages.

Quality wise - he's the best attacking option left for us who's realistic.
  9. Kinnear/Pardew wants shooting if they get rid of Marveaux. The one player remotely capable of injecting some creativity when Hatem is out.
  10. nufcfans now tweeting the article without mentioning this.
  11. What the f*** is that? I follow anti-semitism in football closely. I'm sure there hasn't been anything near that from our lot.
  12. If we loan him out now because Dummett had one good game against Motherwell, it makes perfekt sense.

  14. Ryder's piece on Ben Arfa today is the least interesting thing I've ever read in my life.
  15. First official move. 14th July.
  16. This is the most hopeful part of that piece, albeit probably bullshit. It is an unfortunate development given his importance to Newcastle and boss Pardew, who knows that the team’s priority over pre-season is to strike on a system that allows them to dominate possession and set the tempo of matches on their own terms. The Journal understands that one of the issues raised during the end-of-season meetings between Mike Ashley, Pardew and former managing director Derek Llambias was that United seemed to set up to combat the opposition’s tactics rather than setting out to play their own game.

I absolutely hate the way Ryder in particular formulates his verdicts on our transfer policy. We either "refuse to get dragged into bidding wars" for players we desperately need, or "steer clear" of good players. It's as if we're heroically manage to keep ourselves away from any significant recruitment while preserving our unambitious cheap approach.
  18. Fucking Southampton and their spending and progressive strategy to take the club forward.
  19. This lad and Coloccini as a partnership is one of the very few reasons for positivity approaching next season. I expect him to develop into one hell of a defender, especially under Colo's guidance.
  20. Still no Pardew quotes at all for a couple of weeks now.
  21. This. His disastrous management is second to Kinnears shenanigans. It's actually been nice to because of someone else for a while. Unless something drastically unexpected happens in the next 1,5 month, we're in for one hell of a season. Not because we have bad players, but because the club and fans will be in turmoil from minute one. They're as important factors as the playing staff.
  22. He's good at spotting decent players for low prices, lets not make him out to be a God. Would be appropriate attributes for someone "in charge of transfers", would it not?
  23. Imagine if Graham Carr was given the DoF role. Seems to be more knowledgeable than anyone else at the club.
  24. I think Benfica bought the TV-rights to the Premier League yesterday. Strange thing potentially a good way to generate income. Mike should buy the Bundesliga rights.
