Apparently the switch in formation was down to long-term fitness levels. The fitness team looked at the stats and concluded that if we played the way we were playing at the beginning of the season for the whole year, that the players would all be knackered by about now.

If you surrender possession, sit back, play with no urgency and make poor subs you don’t win games... Difference is restricting them to a few not many like we did against Liverpool and Tottenham. All teams will usually get one or two chances in a game. I’ve rewatched the first half and again, we were abysmal, the worst I’ve ever seen us play at home. I find this very hard to believe. I can think of the Portsmouth defeat under SA and the Liverpool 0-6 straight away. There must be plenty more. You missed the Jesus and debruyne chances for a start, in your terms of chances being from five yards outn maybe but in mine if you have a clear shooting opportunity from outside the box and within 25 yards then that is a chance to score. Not really bothered what the opinion of some people around you say either I form my own opinion on what I see and don’t need to get back up on what I think. You have your opinion I have mine and as I said earlier the opinions are not going to change on here. Like I said, it depends how you define a chance.
