  1. Jesus. Surely not again.
  2. it'll be that "Shambles Travel" on twitter, man. Lad I know went down with them and says they were already doing lines off CD cases within about 2 minutes of setting off. Doesn't surprise me though. When we were down in 05/06 one lad nicked the rugby ball just as someone was taking a conversion. Did he save his for half time?
  3. What an absolute bunch of fucking bell ends, not a pube between them surprisingly enough.

Why is Jimmy Hill responsible for their relegation?
  5. Was just thinking, probably the most mature comments of all, from the young lad who was the victim.
  6. He does subtle little thing like this all the time. I think a PE teacher taught him it when he was really young and it's embedded in his subconscious and he just can't stop.
  7. Are you being deliberately contrary? I think the general idea is that he needs to be punished for potentially wrecking someones career. Whether it gets us three points back is irrelevant. You're post is ridiculous, in fact all your posts in this thread have. So you want revenge on the scouse scum? Thats fine, but, like I suggest, it is of no benefit whatsoever to NUFC if any retrospective punishment was enforced. The FA have made cunts of themselves. If anything positive comes out of this is that maybe a shitstorm that will send the wind of change through the FA. Considering bans would likely lead to a fairer league and less likelihood of such events recurring, would it benefit NUFC to play in a league that's safer for the players? Pointless this isn't it.

I don't appreciate being called a mug by someone that can't form an argument without a massive contradiction at the centre of it. I stated that if push came to shove (having to decide between them or Wigan/Villa going down for example) I'd rather keep the games against the mackems as our fortunes are almost always better against them than any other club towards the bottom of the league. That's a view based on wanting the best for NUFC and nothing else, I'd rather have more points a season than the privilege of seeing them in a lower league. I don't care what league they're in, I do care about how many points a season we win. It's not necessarily about missing the derby games either, although I do seem to look forward to them more than most whilst everyone else shits their pants on here, because I'm always confident of beating them and winning points. The hate and bitterness they have towards us? I don't care as much about that as I do about NUFC winning points. They revel in our misfortune? I don't care as much about that as I do about NUFC winning points. They may or may not deserve to suffer utter misery, I'm more bothered about us doing well. Aren't you?
  9. Without these punishments existing, people will continue to perform the same crimes. This is relevant in football and in life. I think the kid knows he has done wrong and so does everyone else except Whelan and it wouldn't surprise me if martinez doesn't pick him for a couple of games anyway but it still won't help us. "You think the kid knows he has done wrong" This is based on what? The reassuring pat that he gave Haidara, having been told to by his team mate? Or the complete silence after the event? No apology from the player or the club, in fact they have done the complete opposite. Absolutely gutted they weren't all given a fucking harsh punishment even though it wouldn't have directly affected our results. The result is all that matters and banning him won't change the result. Ladies and gentlemen, a man who cares only about results and not at all for equality, justice or right and wrong
  10. We should pull out of the FA cup next season once the draw's been made, just say we didn't see it: FA: Chelsea v Newcastle United NUFC: Nah, don't think we'll bother with that thanks. FA: But you have to, it's been drawn. NUFC: Well we didn't see it. FA: We're showing it to you now, you're playing Chelsea. NUFC: But we didn't see it at the time. FA: It still stands, there it is. NUFC: Well we saw ourselves being drawn but we didn't see all of it, so we're not playing Chelsea.

Nah they can p*ss of and we'll have them points off Brucies Hull But we probably won't. It'd be easier to stomach than if we don't beat this shower. But we've always got more chance of beating the mackems than any other basement club.
  12. I was overjoyed when we signed him man, completely overjoyed, I was glued to SSN while the negotiations were ongoing and remember legging it downstairs when it was announced to tell my dad. He was my favourite player ever since the England Goal, I really looked up to him as a young lad and I remember defending him quite a bit while he was here. Absolute shambles the way it's worked out. He had injuries but his attitude just absolutely stinks. Good riddance tbh.

Push comes to shove I'd rather keep them and the 4 points a season.
  15. I respectfully disagree. If a team creates a chance and a striker misses it, that's a personal error. If a team can't pass efficiently to create a chance, that's the managers fault imo. I realise it's simplistic, obviously you get occurrences where there'll be a good move and the final ball is bad. But you've got to adjust to that happening all the time. Why is the final ball bad? One reason I'd offer straight away is that we've only ever got 1 (2 at the most) players in the box when the cross comes in, so it has to be pinpoint to be a good cross. It's been a full season of bad attacking performances on the whole, with a few examples of good attacking games when we've played open teams like Man U, Arsenal and Southampton. I'm sorry but I'm still not seeing these issues being addressed, and they're issues I've been raising in here and in person since last season.
  16. Fair to say he's the best full back at the club? I think so.
  17. Aye, wouldnt be surprised if it's a 'how much!? aye alreet Graham, but I'm coming to watch this one if we're offering that much'.
  18. What's your avatar btw? It looks like the guy from Kill List?
  19. Reminds me a bit of this:
  20. Don't think the style of football has been the point of this thread/discussion. Yeah i know. So this cutting loose thing? What does that mean? And why have we decided not to do it?
  21. For the record, one defeat hasn't changed my outlook on anything at all. I don't think we'll go down but I maintain that we've played shocking football on the whole this season.
  22. which we've decided not to do?
