Yorkie - I agree we shouldn't get on his back unless things are really dire. Dave - I don't think we're that far off having a squad that should at least be challenging for top 4.
-
I thought he was crap in the first half and a bit better in the second, meaning that he was finding team mates with the the ball. On this seasons evidence I'd have Anita starting games ahead of him at the minute.
-
This is related to my last post, and pure speculation, however......I genuinely believe that quite a few people need to actually see this squad managed by someone who encourages positive attacking play and movement before they'll realise he's holding us back. Or, until they'll allow themselves to see that he's holding us back given that they think there's no chance of him being replaced.
-
I doubt it. It seems that the same posters who tell us constantly that there's no chance of him being replaced (this may or may not be true) are also the ones telling us to go easy on him.

Everton have Fellani, even Anichebe seems to score on his rare outings (4 goals to our main forwards 6) but yeah they have done well. Chelsea have Lampard and Mata who have scored over 10, now they have Ba obviously, even the youngster they loaned out who has 12 league goals. Arsenal have Walcott, Carzola, even Giroud has scored 9. Defoe still has 10, that Gareth Bale lad seems to chip in with the odd goal. Wouldn't Dempsey and Sigurdsson be better goalscoring options than we have? Suarez is the top scorer in the league. Gerrard has scored 7, Sturridge 4 since he signed in January. Obviously Cisse's form this season is entirely down to Pardew though, no other explanation. I suppose Moyes is at fault that Jelavic and Mirales haven't been banging them away? Probably not I suspect. To suggest any of these teams don't have a lot more options than us is ridiculous. Where are our goals coming from if we need to change things up? Are we going to realistically get double figures from our centre mids? (maybe Sissoko over a full season), can you see our full backs getting as many as Baines? We have one centre back capable of getting the odd goal, hopefully MYM will be. You might have a point, however I'd argue that come the end of the season this will all be academic. I'll judge him on where we finish in the league.

Yep: Colo replacement Shola upgrade Jonas upgrade Sub keeper -
I can just about get away with him being on the pitch in an away game, its the home games when he gets the nod over Marveuax that piss me off.

without a doubt, no excuse for missing that -
No major complaints today, although I do think Anita and Marveaux should have gotten some time on the pitch (more than 3 mins in Marv's case).

I think with HBA we win that like, which begs the question why wasnt Marveaux introduced instead of Jonas in the second half? 'Safety' first as always. -

Tiote can't trap a bag of cement and he's heading towards a red, Cabaye's on a yellow as well. Get Anita on and Tiote off. -
As Crumpy said, it's because they now take 12 payments instead of 10.

That was a ridiculously good finish, and probably wasnt even in the top 3 he scored last season. -

Lets just see how the game pans out . Massive pet hate of mine posts like this Yep, only silly folk like Martin O Neill plan their subs in advance. -
I'd be surprised if they ever query it, I'm not exaggerating.

I said at the time that I understood why he was doing it, it was still the wrong thing to do though, 100%.

Please do, might stop some of the revisionist bollocks we've been seeing recently. We've been awful this season and some fans have swallowed the injuries excuse completely. I don't think anyone would argue that we haven't underachieved. Sweet Fwiw I want him gone ideally (is that ok Inochi?) but if the board are going to back him I'm happy enough for him to get another chance next season.

Him and Sissoko tearing forwards on the counter, it's going to be beautiful.
-
Need to get this nugget out of the team NOW.
-
I like him in the number 10 position but I do think in certain games it'd be handy to have him start from a bit deeper. He goes past people really well, when teams are trying to crowd us out he can open up space really quickly by going past one or two.

He's got some self belief this one like
