I think we can all see that it's been proven not to work. That's what worries me. He knows the option's available and that is has its uses, we saw that yesterday but he just seems to flat out refuse to start with it for some reason. What makes it worse is that the whole set up of it is so rigid, archaic and unbalanced, from the players selected, to the style we choose to play and so on. We've gone from being on fire at the end of last season to looking worse than the likes of Norwich and Aston Villa in a footballing sense, how much longer can it go on? Probably not much longer. In some ways this season isn't that much different to the start of last season, we were playing badly and winning then, now we're playing badly and drawing/losing. He got the team performing eventually and he'll do it again. I think the major factor is Ba not wanting to play anywhere but in the middle, only reinforced yesterday by Shola coming on and playing on the right (WTF?). Pardew needs to sort that situation out before we can move forwards imo, whether its talking to Ba or just moving him on.

Anyone else think it might have been a good idea to tell this lad he had to see his contract out and put him on the bench/play him in the EL and as back up for Krul?
-
To be fair to him, at least he plays.
-
Monday - Thursday "stay in the game" Friday "shall we try and win this?"
-
Thought he looked uncomfortable tbh, needs more time on the right, still a right back though imo.

The most alarming thing for me is that all the concerns right now are the same as I had last season. 4-4-2, no movement, too deep, no cohesion to our play when in possession. We haven't moved forward as a team, we've actually regressed from where we were at one point. It seems more and more that Ba is dictating where he'll play, I HATE that.

Will be a dreadful game, two teams trying to out defend each other. Get our defenders fit and we might just win it, if not 1-1. -
Sitting back and letting Man U have 70% possession until they went 2-0 didn't help either. Before you say it was bad organisation for the corners, you might want to reflect they could have scored another 4 in that time. It was a tactical shambles and there's no getting away from it. We lost that game before the first whistle was blown. Stood 40 yards off them and let them play their way into the game. Completely the wrong attitude.

We'd lost this before the first whistle was blown, stood 40 yards off them and let them play their way into it, no urgency. -
At the end of the day you either want to go and watch 11 blokes play for nufc or not. Forget about the rest of it, you can't control it. Singing songs about it won't change it. The only vote that counts is with your wallet, if its a step too far stay away. Sad but unfortunately that's the way it is.

Hal Robson-Kanu is a fucking mental name

Cannot believe Swansea aren't gonna win this, get your money on Arsenal and Liverpool draws because its guaranteed this will be the only match to let me down after how one sided it's been.

Holy shit, I wish i could meet Colo in a petrol station. -
they're ruining my accumulator like Mine to and my FF Moore's gotta score that FFS!!
-
Could really do with Wigan seeing this through like, Everton 4 points ahead is quite enough
-
they're ruining my accumulator like

Yeah annoyed me a few times last night, wasn't even looking at times. Yep. Oh and btw, anyone saying I don't appreciate the finer points of his game because him giving it away cheaply annoys me can suck my fat one. I've regularly praised him on here and was one of the chief opposers to the 'if we're gonna sell someone it should be him' brigade last season.
-
The irony being that they've pyschologically latched onto us and can't separate the fortunes of the two teams.
-
To be fair they do defend resolutely and they have a good keeper. But obviousy it's all luck FTM.
-
Seems apt. Sunderland seem out of their dept this season. Pretty sure the Mackems were singing, "We cheered, when you won the league" just before. Scott Wilson @Scottwilsonecho Man City fans singing: "You cheered when we won the league" to the #SAFC supporters, remembering final day of last season. Expand Reply Retweet Favorite They'll take that as a sign of everlasting friendship when it's actually very belittling.

Really like the look of Mignolet, made some great saves this season. Obviously he's shit though coz he plays for them but he's too good for them and he'll be off in January FTM.

His celebration in front of the Gallowgate on Thursday was mint like, was a proper genuine thank you to the fans for backing him, his little wave on the next singing of 'scores when he wants' was the icing on the cake.
