  1. Really proud of them all today, just beaten by a better team. The game plan was fine imo and executed well, the only mistake of note was Toure having so much space for his second.
  2. was planning on getting some work done this morning but I can't concentrate on ANYTHING

Yep, I'm in on this as well, I was very critical when we went through that patch of naff performances and looked hopelessly static and uninspiring. He's really showed class in the recent run though. Hats off to him this season, absolutely fantastic, it'll take a lot for me to go back to doubting him.

They seem to all have really good attributes for coaches, very hard workers but always got a twinkle in their eye and game for a laugh.
  5. what about the europa league suggests we won't win it? we're very, very capable and could potentially get better next season.
  6. Yep, our many games spent keeping it tight will benefit us here. We've got the coolest finisher in the league in our team, he won't be put off by the occasion. Defend well and get it to Cisse.
  7. Been asked to post this, I believe this will be while Danby's singing: A local company is shooting the final scene of a film about Geordie Ridley, the composer of the Blaydon Races at the match tomorrow. Please sing your hearts out and give Craig Conway, the actor playing Geordie Ridley, a fantastic welcome.
  8. Downing is absolute toss. Never forces the issue, doesn't look to commit defenders, he can't even drop a shoulder and get a cross in against Boswinga ffs. He always takes the easy 2 yard pass to someone who isn't in a threatening position rather than trying to make something happen himself. He's basically Damien Duff.
  9. No chance of them fielding a substantially weakened team whatever the circumstances, really. Just don't think it's in Moyes' character for starters. Not sure whether it'd be better to play them with nothing on the line for them, or with the pressure of finishing above Liverpool/getting into Europe on their minds. I've got so big time I don't even know what's the lowest place you could finish for Europe now. 8th? Aye it has to be. Meh, it's win-win really. They'll have nothing to play for or the pressure of having Liverpool/Fulham on their tails come next weekend. You're right - Moyes certainly won't just play the kids. Could see a few changes but it's not going to be 8 19 year olds suddenly appearing. In theory, it should be a very good game what with both teams in very good form. You say us having little to play for could work against us, and that's fair enough, but then again we've had little to play for most of the past couple of months and we've been doing rather well. Then it's over if everton go full strength, well not get the win that's for sure. Yeah, we'll never ever beat Everton.

has he scored a couple for them since he's been there?
  11. it's pretty nasty wanting Chelsea to win this like
  12. won player of the round and therefore is there as guest of the FA if he wants to be
  13. What an arse.. tbf i think he's just very angry with his own team there. we've all been there at some point when we want sod all to do with anyone after a bad result. he's a professional manager, he should be able to shake his opponents hand in a respectful manner and not stomp about like a kid who's just been told he can't play on his xbox
  14. Even a point tomorrow makes it possible on the last day
  15. let's hope West Brom fancy sending Woy off on a high
  16. should be booked if the linesman's saying he's dived
