  1. The radio gaga one is good
  2. Odd thing to say, I'd suggest it's due to the normal flow of the game. i.e if Cisse finds himself out wide when we lose possession he fills in, if Ba's more central at the time he takes the central role etc. You can see them telling each other where they're going during games, players with a bit of footballing intelligence don't need to be told where to go all the time.
  3. Playing Santon behind Ben Arfa on the right will make us so more balanced and potent in attack, teams will have to double up on both of them.
  4. It's a fair comment, and I'm guilty of it myself. Having said that, I've been pleasantly surprised at how little the Wigan has pissed me off. It was a horrible performance and result, but now we're confirmed in Europe it's been easier to sit back, shake my head and and not let it destroy the rest of my week like it normally does. Makes a nice change. Yeah, if we hadn't already been guaranteed Europe and might miss out on it due to that Wigan result I'd be depressed as fuck like!
  5. Cool, I might actually want England to win some games, I like Woy.
  6. I honestly think being 4th impacted our form, and Pardew's changed comments in the media. Not that I blame him, just think it had an effect.
  7. I'm not sure how unlikely the win is at Stamford Bridge, I just don't rate Chelsea that much. I think there's a decent argument that we're pretty much their equal and we all know how many games they've got this week, I don't think our chances are that bad tbh. Chelsea's passing and movement is generally streets ahead of ours, and though the 3-0 scoreline at SJP was unjust in the end, it was in that game too. And so it should be, considering the money spent on their squad. Hopefully we'll put up a fight, but I think it'll be a reasonably comfortable win for them. The good thing though is that it's basically our cup final. We need to go out there and get a point at the very least and the dream is still alive. All or nothing (relatively speaking!). Fully agree that it's been a bloody fantastic season mind. Lots to be hopeful about and proud of. Fair enough, you're right about it being all or nothing like, we're guaranteed europe so let's just go and have a right go at them and see if we can catch them saving themselves for other games.

  9. Still not over lads, just a bit more difficult than it looked before the weekend. Perhaps not likely, but it's not finished.
  10. He also said 'he had his arms all over him, too many defenders get away with that every weekend, and most of them play for Stoke'
  11. Green's absolutely laying into Bale like, good to hear
  12. holy shit, Alan Green just said something sensible
  13. plenty time, if Blackburn get one at any point it'll change the dynamic massively

We have the same problem in our seats, although the lads dad is really canny and always makes an effort to get the bairn to stop, all it takes is a friendly request. Can't say the same for the bloke who sits next to him who's a massive racist like, he doesn't like it when you make requests of him.

    Alan Pardew

His comments in the press have changed somewhat in the last week, looks a mistake but it's only one result.
  16. Ba and Jonas have been 2 of our most important players this season man Of course they have. f***ing ridiculous expecting to replace that calibre of player when you've got barely any depth to start with. We play our best football in a 4-3-3 and i dont feel Jonas and Ba are particularly suited to being starting players in that system. Ba was fantastic in a 4-4-2 when we were playing direct and he was playing off Bests knockdowns & Jonas is a fantastic versatile squad player. However if we want to consistantly challenge at the top in a 4-3-3 formation, these positions need upgraded. We've just won 6 on the bounce in that formation with those players. We've been playing teams that we are expected to beat though and an out of form Liverpool. oh no, here comes stu!

Yep http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=695679 It's "What modern fans do" apparently, although there wasn't any after we got tonked 4-0 by Wigan Only at half time, we're fine with losing but won't stand for being down at half time
  18. Back to insulting him again. Wondered how long it would take. Why is it ok to insult Mike Williamson but not Alan Pardew? When did I insult Williamson? I offered a fair appraisal of him and didn't resort to calling him names. Plus, one's done a superb job this season and the other has let us down time after time. No he hasn't Who hasn't what? Williamson and what you said Right. He's been a rock. He's done his best and made some mistakes, just like Pardew. It's MADNESS to call the latter names though? We're on 62 points with that squad. Anyone calling Pardew names is a f***ing idiot. Williamson is part of that squad you utter wum. Which is exactly why Pardew doesn't deserve to be called names. Have you figured it out yet? Nope Ok, I'll try to make it simple for you. We've overachieved massively this season with Championship players like Williamson, Raylor and Simpson regularly getting a game. Pardew is a big reason for that. He's done an absolutely magnificent job to get us to 62 points. Anyone calling him names is a fucking idiot. Hope that helps. Maybe Williamson's even worse than he looks and is overachieving as well? Maybe he doesn't deserve to be called names under those circumstances?
