Krul Simpson Williamson Colo Santon Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ba Ben Arfa Cisse -
When we're in possession he's playing at LB. We're just not really set up for attacking football at present. That's the crux of it like, we haven't seen the best of any of the midfielders in an attacking sense. It was all good early in the season when we weren't conceding but it needed to be addressed months ago and nothing's been done.

Aye going forward I think we can cause some damage, and in midfield we can contain them also. I just think Van Persie is phenomenal and unless Colo' man marks him I cannot see us not conceding. In addition to this, I can only see us telling Williamson to man mark and Colo' to sweep due to his technical and mental ability. If this is the case Williamson will be given the run-around imo. We can if we pass the ball about a bit and concentrate on making chances for our strikers, who are canny fucking good. Especially at home to Wolves, who's record reads scored 0 conceded 7 since we played them. Anyway I digress. -

The thing is if we concentrate on what our first 11 is good at we should be going and attacking teams every single week, if we'd done that since Saylor got injured we'd be 5/6 points better off easily imo. I'd fancy our front 6 against most teams, especially Arsenal. -

Really hope we go and have a go at them, it's been a while since we played some football, first half of Fulham away? -
Mackems win a game with 1 shot on target, didn't they win one with no shots on target a couple of weeks back as well?

You're right, but this point shouldn't even need to be made, Cisse's scored 2 in his first 4 games for the club ffs, what kind of lunatic wants him dropped? And for Obertan!? Jesus. I'd like to see Pardew return to the 4-2-3-1 and try it out with some good players. We'll get a rigid 4-4-2 and hoofing though, pig sick of making this prediction before every game and being correct. -
O' Neill's got them in a fantastic position considering where they were like
-
I'm not in the business of criticising them for signings we didnt make, Obertan you can have though.
-
Indeed, tho the problem is that for such a system to work we need two quality fullbacks providing the width when Marveaux and Ben Arfa are narrow. Hopefully the summer will provide the answers to all these silly questions hopefully at least some of the questions, but probably not all of them.... "Alan’s plan is to get a smaller squad, with better quality - so the bench is better. That’s our aim over the next two years. We can’t do it all this summer " Can we really afford to have a smaller squad then we allready have? I don't see a problem with having more quality being backed up by youngsters.

Let's not shit ourselves over Tiote leaving, he's on a massive contract, if he goes we'll be handsomely rewarded. We're also in the position of being able to attract a much higher calibre of player than we were when we signed him, plus our scouts are canny aren't they? I think we'd be ok. I'm much more worried about Ba leaving, he'd be a lot harder to replace.
-
The pick up in training could be as much a physical thing as an effort thing. He was noticeably sharper against the mackems.
-
It's not really too much of a push to believe Europe would keep him here like, he's pretty much gonna have his pick of clubs if the clause is there. Europe would be a big plus point for nufc obviously.
-
Why do this? WHY? Especially on the day that Tiote did an interview saying he doesn't want to leave.
-
The problem, and the reason there's even any debate about the new contract, isn't Ryan Taylor. The problem is Alan Pardew. I'm hoping that this won't be the case every week next season.
-
Is Raylor perhaps a bit more comfortable passing?
-
He is a regular starter, he shouldn't be. Completely the managers fault that one, obviously. Raylor is easily worthy of a place in the squad for a team in our position. We just need a manager who can see what his strengths/weaknesses are and who'll play more talented players ahead of him.
-
For all I'd be astonished if it was actually the case, surely it'd be more than a blindspot? It'd be lunacy.
-
I appreciate the sentiment but, it does, Pardew doesn't decide who we sign.
-
Unbelievable attributing the opinions of one to many on here at times.
