The Cisse signing suggests ambition well above just staying in the premier league, i'll be delighted if I was wrong in thinking that's all he wanted for the club, which it looks like I was at this moment.

None of our players are really vulnerable though, so if they are sold it will be for an extortionate amount which will be invested by knowledgable talented people Ba?

If Colo goes he needs to be replaced by someone of similar quality or with potential, but that's obvious. My only other contribution is that I'd be keeping Raylor and Perch. Both decent cover, it's not Perch's fault we went into the season without enough centre halves.

We know Pardew's taking it seriously so we'll put a full strength team out. Should be able to control midfield with Cabaye and Guthrie and get Ben Arfa and Santon running at them and we'll be ok.

I think teams like QPR will think twice about pressing us high up the pitch like they did against Best and Shola that's for sure. Did I read somewhere that his hobby is being caught offside? When you are playing off the shoulder of the last defender then you'd have to be some striker not to get caught offside a few times. On the occasion when you beat the trap though... Yep, Hernandez was born offside, i'd still have him in our team though, or i would have before we signed all the Demba's.
